Even though I'm religious, I don't base my morals on my religion. I personally feel that there are more things to worry about than taking the Lord's name in vain or being envious of other people's possessions.
I take my morals from my personal conscience, how my mum brought me up and the law of the United Kingdom.

Agreed, I meant to say he has stuck with what he believes even thought the rest of the world (who agreed with him when the war began) has since given up.

You know why the US is constantly bashed though don't you? The world gives it plenty of times to shine but just drops the ball.
The KYOTO treaty to guarantee a target of pollution reduction, the US, largest contributor of pollution in the World, fails to ratify it. Regardless of your stance on global warming, surely most people are for the view that we should preserve the world that was given to us, regardless of belief. Then, why not ratify the treaty for the US and set a target?
