This is what highlights why Microsoft is in such a shithole right now.
It all points to the CEO Ballmer, he is totally incompetent for this role. Ballmer is a 'great' business man, but he isn't a visionary in the same way Gates/Jobs were. Microsoft needs to be lead by a CEO with such qualities, fresh innovating products that people 'actually want', not forced down their throats.
You can clearly see Sony has great visions for the future of its PS4 platform, already they are trying to get indie devs thinking about game development on the console, no bullshit "yeah we;ll probably release a dev kit or something in 2 years blah blah", just straight up getting on with it.
