I mean I dont know where to start, 4months ago I had a ps2 and was trying to sell it for either a ps3 or a 360 and I didnt know what to do. I sold it and went with a 360 and I must say it has been the best decision ive ever made. Ive experienced great games like gears, graw, dead rising lost planet and much more. Im a huge fan of rpgs and the 360 is giving me way more rpgs than I thought id ever see.

I have alot of respect for the ps3 and I beleive it will do well im just glad I chose a 360 over it because the way things have been lately for the ps3 I would have seriously regreted it. Multiplats I thought I would never see on the 360 like gta4, dmc4, assins creed and I just recently heard about vf5 and its going to have better features. Dam the 360 kinda reminds me of the ps2 for some strange reason, I guess the point of this post is to express my love for the 360 and my decision to go with it instead of the ps3 has been the best gaming decision ive made in a while.

I like the 360 too, but what a horribly built system it has been for many who have suffered the 3LoD ... apart from the reliability, it scores top marks everywhere else and price is fair too. Sure PS3 is more technologicially advanced... but I aint prepared to pay for it.

If you've actually seen some of the xbox 360 interviews at microsoft (eg. demonstrating the dashboard, a few games) .... you will realise that they are sometimes using Sony Bravia screens ...... so no its not 'werid' - business is business, there is nothing wrong with it.

Well he isnt lying actually .... you try getting into a ranked match during lunchtime (uk time) .... there is hardly anyone on...... and the only reason so many ppl are on at 3am (uk time) is because its evening time in america and most halo players happen to be american!

hence.... trying to play halo 2 at 12pm (uk) = 6am or less in america .... no wonder no one is on!

Xbox360 and PS3 come HD ready with no hassle, but how come we never hear of PC doing 1080p or even 720 or 480 anything?wok7
sorry but you kinda dug your own grave with that question... This is an example of how noobish people can be about HD technology, many seem to think ooo wow HD is some brand new technology ... when in fact its just a tv with higher resolution (720/1080 lines) .... like monitors which have always been hi-res .... so in other words, PC gaming has always been hi-def... if anything its the consoles playing catch-up and of course now that TVs are becoming HD.

On-line gaming has been free for many years on the PC, PS2, etc.

The Internet backbone as we've known it has been paid for about 1,000,000 times over with customers from around the world paying for monthly Internet bills.

So why is it that Microsoft has the conceit to put up toll booths on then Internet backbone and charge for On-line play?

If there was a real good reason such as Quality of Service, then it would be quite understandable, but that it not the case.

Most of the games on Xbox Live have lag issues.

PlayStation 3's On-line is nearly identical, but it's free.

Microsoft is the only company that wants the milk the people for all its worth.

I'm not a fanboy. I love all the consoles. The 360 is still a great console with good games. I just think there is no reason to charge $50 a year for Xbox Live Gold.

It just goes to show you how low Microsoft will go.

A point to clarify .... the backbones are not 'bought' - instead ISPs pay a fee per month to use and recieve allocated bandwidth ... hence you as as a paying customer help the ISP make its payments on leasing the backbone! and no PSN isnt even nearly as close as to what xbl is ...

to be honest i still cant wait for the game in october but the trailer to me was a huge disapointment they hyped it up way to much with that countdown thing on the website. the graphix really look very similar to saints row graphix and im not goin exactly insane over this guy from russia or wat ever. And New york come on i really wanted a city that is well renowned with gangs. well all i want to know is was anyone else disapointed by the tralier.   dbzultimate3134
At first yes ... but more left feeling confused? but thats because I was expecting the 'same' old gta .. and the trailer ended up showing something totally different .... if you try and remove the fact that this is a GTA game and look it as an actual game without the GTA tag then it does look impressive! Still tho, I would of wanted a different city (no matter how detailed an used city is)

as a proud 360 owner, I do agree with you on some points...

After hearing about what MS did at the uk launch I was dissapointed ... up until then, MS has kept its public relations away from any sort of low business tactics (eg. dissing another game company) and just concentrated on its own products.

I thought the idea of giving out chairs to the gamers who were waiting in Oxford Street, London was pretty lame "sony your too late" ... it made them look really childish, and there was simply no need for such a statement ....the 360 is already doing well.

I hope this is the last of the stupid tactics MS does.
