I am kinda curious about the transition between Army Engineers to Desert Rangers. I always find those early, uncertain times more interesting than after everything has fallen into established pattern. I don't mind the video much; I gave to Tesla Effect for the FMV and Wasteland 2 for its specific brand of gameplay.
I completely agree and add that contributors are more careful about what they fund, which is a good thing. Hopefully crowdfunding is evolving toward creators who can both better sell their projects and more competently execute them as well as more judicious backers who can pick winners, perhaps even serve in some small capacity what venture capitalists do for start-ups.
Oh, and no. Since I've been lucky enough to back a few successes that delivered, I am not sick of crowdfunding.
@jemoedr In so far as promoting the Wii U hardware, no reason at all. If that's how Nintendo intends to use Mario Kart 8 and others like it, I think failure in the marketplace (not of the games but of the hardware) is the only way to change its mind.
I'd be more likely to watch live streams if it's announced more prominently. I know right now when this one will happen, but chances are good I will forget when I leave and next time I remember it will be over.
@TigusVidiks I know how it's setup, but thank you. It just feels weird. That sort of balance is not what I associate with current fighting aircraft and by extension, spacecrafts of the future. I am more used to fighter pilots using predominantly air (space) superiority crafts (or such loadouts on a multi-role craft), and other crafts filling more specific roles. A three-sided balance of fighters, heavy attack crafts, and capitol ships have worked well for games past, but of course I don't know how much a role capitol ships play in this game.
