[QUOTE="UnsaidWarning"]Whoa whoa, Dead Space is a lot different than the Resident Evil series. I'm a big RE fan, and while I think Dead Space is a great gaming experience, I personally did not like it in comparison.JimCarreyForYouRE turned to crap man, Dead Space was better times 2, IMO. RE4 is one of the most exciting games ever made. And RE5, while a downer on a lot of points, added co-op. And thats a huge fun factor for me.

[QUOTE="BR1NG3R"] Yes and No. Killzone 2 isn't that good, but Uncharted isn't worth the full price, but if you can get it for like $20-30 then it's not a bad deal. yokofox33
Hoo ha! Uncharted is much more worthy of a 60 dollar price tag than KZ2.
Valkyria Chronicles is worth more than both of those games combined. Jann Walker, honey. :P
This is actually pretty true.[QUOTE="gamergirl17"] working on them trophies sir.. lol dead space looks awesome.... i need that one tooRaikoh_
Rent Dead Space or borrow it from a friend. I tried to play it, I even bought the Ultra Limited Edition from EA and was severly disappointed. It just recycles a lot. Then again, never been a fan of Resident Evil and that's what Dead Space essentially is.

But the question is, how hardcore are you really?
well rockband guitar on expert just completed vegas 2 on realistic.. completed Battlefield Bad Company AND COD4 in the same week... finished Orange Box ALL on hard... that help? I commend you, although... Rockband is kind of the "Everybody loves it" game, and FPS shooters are the "Everybody plays them" genre. Better than most though. My best friends, whos a female, is a gamer. Although shes relatively new to the scene. I have never met a hardcore girl gamer before though.[QUOTE="UnsaidWarning"][QUOTE="gamergirl17"] yeah they look at me in utter disbelief.. lol.. i had a guy a few weeks ago completely think i was lying... i had to get a friend to convince him otherwise

Real female gamers are hard to come by. Most of them claim to be gamers but have no idea how to actually hold a controller.
Exactly![QUOTE="UnsaidWarning"][QUOTE="gamergirl17"] yeah they look at me in utter disbelief.. lol.. i had a guy a few weeks ago completely think i was lying... i had to get a friend to convince him otherwiseMy best friends, whos a female, is a gamer. Digital Devil Saga is great, but imo the Persona series are a little more "relaxing", just because you can expect a lot of instant fights in DDS, Persona eases this with the storyline and school stuff.
Also, the Xenosaga trilogy is fantastic. Its very anime-ish but has a very dark storyline despite its looks. The first two are great, but the third is amazing. All together a great gaming experience. And Xenogears for PS1 also has the darkest storyline in an rpg you can find. I also vouch for Shadow Hearts 1 and 2, I'd avoid 3 though.
