Yeah PS1, and PS2 have the greatest selection of RPG's. Plus, they also have the best selection of Survival Horror games. My two fave genres.

Sounds a lot like the idiots that live on my towns east and west side, and people usuallym not even involved end up getting hurt.

Heres an answer, grow up, get a life. Theres no such thing as "owning" a part of a town. If not go ahead and attempt to do something, its basically death, injury, or sensibility.

Great post! You might've convinced me to go pick up Lost Odyssey, but I'm still not sure ( I was never a fan of random encounters. I also heard there are bad load times).

BioShockOwnz

Thanks! :)

The load times in the retail version aren't bad at all.

But there are a lot of random encounters, so if that's a big negative for you, then you may want to pass on it. Although, if you can deal with it, you'll experience one heck of a JRPG. It doesn't have the girly boys, the annoying anime characters, the bad acting, etc. Most JRPG's are filled with those cliches, but LO is one of the few that rises above to become a more mature experience with heart.

Couldn't agree with this more. Perfect definition for a fantastic game. Fantastic list too. Also, because I'm sure not a lot of people know, the Darkness is based on the pretty good comic book series, and did a great job of retelling the story and such with fun game play. And like some one else mentioned, Red Dead Revolver is awesome. The final level is exhilarating.

Recently, when I played through Mirrors Edge, there was a couple of parts where I was getting insanely frustrated at some of the jumps and stuff. One of those games where too many control schemes are "activated" by similar button presses. Great game, but many I haven't been that mad in a long time.

Also, the final boss in Last Remnant was irritating me for a long time, because it solely relied on luck at a couple of points. Same thing with Persona 3 actually, was about to kill the final boss when it charmed my entire party, and they healed it for full hp. That was one of my "No...that can't be..." moments.

A more reliable "Version" of the 360, the Jasper.

Mines currently being repaired at a center for the third time after experiencing the new black screen, hopefully they will get the hint and just send me back a new system.

You want a good story and entertaining event? Read the comics.

Like any comic reader or follower knows, the script for these films suck hardcore because they only include basic elements and names to get people to watch it, while hardly keeping any of the facts. Which is lame, because thats how the comics got popular in the first place.

And I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but the ending alone warrants a big fat "STUPID". Much like the whole film actually.

Yeah Pyramid Head is scary as hell. But if Tyrants, like Mr. X, or the Nemesis are wandering around it may be bad.

I mean I choose Raccoon also, but you guys are forgetting its not just zombies. Think Lickers and Hunters, and worst of all, Zombie Dogs...

Why do all rap songs recently insist on using nursery rhymes as a basic for the song, or having their songs sound like nursery rhymes?

Outlaw Star and Evangelion are still reigning champions in my Otaku book. Also, Miyazaki films are always good. Watch all of them, they are all above 10's.

Akira, Ghost in the Shell, and Ninja Scroll are classic top notch flicks, and Perfect Blue and Paprika are great psychological "horror" films, plus the directors great. For sure adult stuff though.

if you don't want to stray too far into the adult realm, you'd probably enjoy Trigun, Full Metal Alchemist, Inuyasha and some stuff in that same vein.

Oh and I recently watched the Mezzo series and Best Student Council series, great comedic animes. I could really go on and on though, let me know if you need more suggestions. :D

Because of the recent amnesia of my Ipod, I decided it'd be best to blog about my curse.
