It's not great, but it isn't bad. I skip breakfast, dont eat anything during the day, and when i get home from college i'll usually have either fish or chicken with a jacket potato, chicken fried rice, pasta, or pizza. I only drink water and orange juice, or coffee of a morning.
thats your problem then, your diet isnt good enough, when you starve your body your metabolism goes into a survival mode and all of your work out is pretty much in vain if your doing it before eating
Yeah, his diet does suck a lot. You need to eat 6 small meals a day(or more). Keep you meals small and numerous. This way you can keep your metabolism revved up, muscles fed, and avoid an insulin spike(hormone that initiates fat storage)
