You can find all the Must-Have mods on these two sites:

www.tesnexus.com

elderscrolls.filefront.com

Ones I'd recommend?

OOO (Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul), MMM (Martigen's(i think) Monster Mod), Frostmourne and Lich King's Helm (if your a Warcraft fan), Midas Magic Spells of Aurum, The Lost Spires, Lost Paladins of the Divines, OBMM (OBlivion Mod Manager), Akatosh Mount by Saiden Storm R19, Sauron's Armor Chest (if your a LotOR fan), Capes and Cloaks, Ren's Beauty Pack, and Qarl's Texture Pack :).

EDIT: Oh yeah, and OBSE (found at obse.silverlock.org)

I've played thru the game and Warhead.

They just aren't good. The look fantastic. Even on an average system, they look great. But the gameplay is meh. I mean, first off, I'm supposed to have a super suit and be a super soldier, yet its almost impossible to aim. It takes several shots to bring down enemies. Not like 2-4, but like 5+. Finally, its too hard to switch between suit modes. Combos are nearly impossible.

1. You got to be real quick with switching between suit modes in this game. Which is easy to adapt to, so it shouldn't be a problem at all. All you really got to do is press "4" really quick (basically button-mashing the 4 key).

2. Yes, you do have a "super-suit" but, the suit isn't supposed to help with aiming unless you switch to maximum strength. The player character isn't a "super-soldier"; just a spec-ops trooper with an advanced nano-suit.

3. Where have been shooting your enemy? I generally take down my targets in 1-3 shots. For shooting, you got to react quick to where your cursor is pointing and timing it perfectly, then you should not have any problem.

It sounds really fishy to me. I agree with 2nd post: sounds like a scam.

Warhammer is very, very far from dying off, especially if MMOs like EQ and SWG are still around. WoW will probably always sit on its frozen throne, but, if the developers at Mythic Entertainment work hard enough on Warhammer, WoW could be overthrown. IMO that is...

1. TPS is not dying...it's just not as popular as FPS.

2 I don't care for tuck jumps.

3. What NutCrackr said: "Same way you try to improve FPS, perspective is just the beginning of the experience. Many people like to "see" themselves in a game. Hitman for example I think works much better in third person than it could ever in first person."

WoW is a great game. However, I can not play WoW for no more than 3-5 months. Any longer and I get real bored. I have several reasons, but, the main reason is the repetitiveness of the game. All it really is: level up to 19, then pvp for a while; level up to 29, pvp a while; level up to 39, pvp a while...all the way until level 70, where it is just raiding and more pvp and gold farming.

But despite that, I always seem to come back to WoW. I frequently cancel my subscription whenever I get too bored (which I just did just over a week ago). I tend to alternate between MMOs (the one I'm currently playing now is City of Heroes/Villains); but I also play a bit of WAR (when I go to my cousin's house).

City of Heroes is great fun and even though the game is kinda old there is no character creation that is on par with this one in ANY game imo. NONE! ZERO! ZILCH! You'll look unique through-out the whole game and some of the moves are just downright overpowered looking which is great... adds that sense that you're really a superhero/villain out to dish pain. Siofen

Yes, I agree. CoH/V is a great game...I just wish they would raise the level cap at least once...

having 10 million + subscribers for 1 game leads me to believe if wow did not exist, there could potentially have been more games developed and released due to a larger playerbase looking for new games to play.

what do you guys think?

chris4355

Completely true. But, if Blizzard didn't introduce WoW, then WAR would just take its place...in my opinion that is.

Yeah, grinding is very tedious. But, in MMORPGs, it's necessary. If you don't want to grind, then don't bother playing the game.
