No, people. Do notwaste your money. You will find an unfinished pile of crap waiting for you after you spend that $50. This MMORPG is not finished, and won't be finished for a long time.

You idiots who are about to reply to me and say, "What MMORPG is ever finished?" are blind, and you have never been apart of another game's release. Warhamer Online has too many flaws to count, and it is a complete waste of your time and money.

because he captures the game perfectly. No, to this I say: Do not waste your money. I have logged over 50 hours on that game and I participated in a little closed beta myself, so I've experienced all I need to experience to tell me if it's a good game or not.

If it has any content at all, most of it is unfinished. The sound is terrible, and it runs like complete **** on anyone's computer. I have an acquaintence I met on Warhammer Alliance who says he can run Crysis on maximum settings (AA on full) with 1600x1200 resolution or higher, and he has terrible screen tear with Warhammer. Its graphics...simply put, really suck. Yeah. They're not good, at all. Guild Wars has better graphics than it does. It's graphics are terrible, and Mythic themselves have said that "they will work on the graphics post-release." If you had the common sense to know when to release a game, then surely you would have half a brain to know to finish the graphics beforereleasing it--idiots.

Warhammer Online is a waste of your time and money. Avoidthis game, because it is just horrible.

First off, wasn't WAR only released like 2 weeks ago? So it should be "unfinished" and should have a lot of flaws since it's been running for only 2 weeks.

Secondly, 2 days and 2 hrs+ worth of playing isn't actually that long at all. To get the most out of the game, you should at least give it a week.

Thirdly, of course its graphics aren't as good as Guild Wars, Guild Wars has one of the best MMO graphics.

And finally, about that review...only 10 hrs or less that guy played it for, so his opinion doesn't really mean very much.

Hey all, I just put together an awesome gaming pc and only have warhammer online and spore so far. These games are fun but I am craving more xD. I was thinking about UT3, Crysis, World in Conflict, Sins of a Solar empire, Witcher enhanced, and some others I cant think of.nooblet69

I think you should play Crysis: Warhead (or the first one..or both), World in Conflict, Mass Effect and Witcher Enhanced (I haven't tried it myself but my friends tell me it's great).

Now then, back on topic, I wouldn't say you must play WAR, but, it would be good if you actually tried it. WAR is probably the most highly anticipated MMO I have ever seen. Just don't start judging the game without even trying it...I tried it, wasn't as good as I belived it was going to be, but good nonetheless.

And guys, don't start fighting over which is better. Keep your thoughts to yourself or post a new thread for WoW v WAR or something...

I would suggest WAR at this point because there will be a lot more new players playing it and I hear the low level areas of WoW are rather deserted these days...and that isn't very fun. If you get into WoW now, you are probably just going to feel like your only objective is to get to the level cap where everyone else is. You probably will have a much harder time doing lower level group content (which you don't have to do of course) than you would have back in its earlier days.

The low level areas for some areas aren't that deserted. It's just you will find some races more common than others (e.g. human, orc/troll). Also, getting groups for low level content is difficult unless you are looking for a dungeon group. Most of the time, you won't need a group for leveling up, most quests are soloable, so you shouldn't have any trouble leveling (it's just really long after level 30).

The level cap part I definately agree with, you need 1 month worth of playing (disincluding offline time) to reach level 70; and even longer when the new expansion comes out. However, like above, I would suggest giving WAR a try (don't knock it before you try it).
