Will there be some silenced guns or camo suits that unlock later on in the game to make sneaking into bases easier?

You need to get yourself out of the mindset of current games. Deus Ex is not easy, it will not hold your hand, and, like many older games, it's not as much based on player skill as it is on Character Skill. If you don't level JC's skills, he won't get any better at doing things. If you're running out of items, explore more. There's plenty of loot in each level to go around. And remember, there's always multiple paths to an objective, and evading an enemy is often easier than attacking them. True stealth is often forgotten these days.

This. Current games have rotted your brain.

DE1 is a quality old school game that requires patience and thinking. Think anti-dumbed down and anti-hand holding.

First person view mod seems to be a must, I dislike 3rd person so nice to have this mod for sure. Better blood and free camera perhaps.

What are some other good recommended mods that don't negatively alter or ruin the gameplay? Any graphic mods to improve looks or popup?

SoC my fav cause it had perfect atmosphere and feel. CS least fav, too much rehash. CoP was good but lacked the desolate isolation and dread feeling of the first.

Game is not enough like D3D. Consolitus and level design pretty much ruined this game.

What we all wanted was a game like Duke 3D that was updated into todays visuals. Instead mainstream shooting concepts, that have evolved from consoles and the handheld controller, where used. This proves console's ruined shooting titles....

It should be reveiw compaired to what it should have been... a sequal.

SinfulPotato

Exactly!!!! Sick to death of console, mainstream crap in my PC games. It's Deus Ex 2 all over again.

Sucks how game developers take a game that means alot to Pc Gamers and turn it into crap. robertoenrique

This is the heart of the matter right here. ^^ Very little of the old school goodness is left, while they added in lots of crappy new school junk i.e. 2 weapons, checkpoint save, crap fov, regen health. linear small levels, etc.
