Let's say you have 2 hard drives.

Each has a copy of the same game but only one is linked to the shortcut in your desktop.

How do you find out which one of the hard drives contains the one linked to the shortcut so that you can delete the one that you are not using?

You would be wrong to say, "Right click and you will see the 'Location'" as this will NOT reveal which drive it is linked to.

For example: Gears of War For Windows. Shortcut is located in VISTA Desktop. You right click, expecting the target to reveal a directory address. Instead, it says, "Gears of War for Windows". It doesn't say, "D:\Gamez\Gears of War" or something like that.

I swear, they are making things unnecessarily complicated.

For The Love Of All That Is HOLEEEE!!! Where the HELL is the saved files of SUPREME COMMANDER in VISTA?

The saved files of SUPREME COMMANDER FORGED ALLIANCE is easily located in Documents -> My Games.

Also, what the HELL is the file name and EXTENSION of SC saved files?

As in JEEEEEZ FRACKING SH*****! Things used to be so simple before, like you wanna backup your saved files? Then just copy it from the game directory, not some OBSCURE WEIRD LOCATION in ANOTHER FREEAKIN' Hard Disk!

Help! Please!

These game developers...They make all these changes without even putting appropriately detailed documentation in the game box.

Pathetic.

God dammit.

So ok. It ran well when I installed the patch. I've made some serious progress in the game. For two days I've been playing.

Then today, PIECE OF F(*(^(&^ SHI&&%#^$!!!!! What the hell happened?

I can't continue from the previous checkpoint? I made it a point to get to a F^&%&#^$ check point before ending last night's gaming. So it tells me that I have no previous progress? FU*^K!!!!!

If I select a chapter, only ACT 1 and ACT 5 are highlighted. And only chapter 1 of each ACT is selectable. WHAAAAT!?!?!?! I haven't even got to ACT FU^*%*^%N' 5 yet!

PIECE OF FU^*%*^ SHI(*^%!!!!!!

So I've downloaded the latest patch for Gears of War. Now the game works. Didn't find the link to the patch in the official website tho, had to get into it through an external link through another site.

And now:

GOD! I'm searching for the latest Red Faction Guerilla patch...I've gotten results about reviews about the patch, this and that about the patch. But GOD where the hell is the patch? Can't these idi****** reviews give the F***** link to the (*(^*%* patch?

Why does this always happen? They make official websites to these games and yet it is so F**************** difficult to find where the link to the GO******DA****** patch is!

HELLO GAME DEVELOPERS: TRY MAKING IT EASIER FOR DUMMIES LIKE ME TO FIND YOUR PATCHES WHY DON'T YOU?

GEEEEEZUZ!

Uhm, k.

Am downloading the patch now...this was an issue apparently and ok, Microsoft did a booboo and has released a patch.

I guess I just overreacted, the game being Microsoft and all...

I borrowed my cousin's original copy of Gears of War for the PC.

An error message occurs: "Gears of War\Binaries\wargame-g4wlive.exe. You cannot run the game with modified executable code. Please reinstall the game."

And so I am like:

"F*** Y***!!! What modified executable code? You are an original copy! I just installed you stupid game! This is the second time I reinstalled you! What modified executable are you talking about?"

Someone please shed some insight into my predicament.

Because...I guess the game gets my imagination stimulated.

I turned my college PC into a gaming rig officially when I got my nVIDIA GTX295. I played CRYSIS and CRYSIS Warhead.

I can't help imagine CRYSIS: Hellgate.

Damn. Wouldn't that be awesome? Instead of north koreans and aliens who love frozen delights, you get demons and such to fight? And no stupid dead-end streets etc. If you freakin' want you can go explore entire towns, or even all of LONDON you can very well do that. 0_0

Not once did I feel the motto, "Remember the dead. But fight for the living." while playing HG:L. Aren't you supposed to be a part of a high-tech resistance of high-tech knights, military guys, and magic-users? Why the freakin' heck do you need to buy stuff off a &(%*^% store in some subway-station?

CRYSIS: Hellgate...if only it will become a reality.

Yes, of course.

THe nice thing about playing these games a few years after their release is that their bugggssss issues should have been addressed by now.

Apparently NOT!!!!
