@IAMTYLERDURDEN @fog90 Destructible and realistic??? I think you have Halo and Battlefield Bad Company mixed up.
You just explained Halo 1, 2 and 3, which were great games. Halo Reach was a crappy game that just took Halo 3's engine and made a really terrible campaign out of it with really crappy, unbalanced multiplayer that controlled like Floaty Call of Duty.
Also Halo ODST sucked too. Bungie didn't want to make any Halo games after Halo 3, and it shows.
@hiverious @nyran125 Well, "a guy loses his family that we never get to know so he goes on a murderous rampage" is a really cliche plot. Ancient Greece was also full of manboy love but you thankfully don't find any of that in God of War. You can also tell a good Greek story without polygon tits and lesbian love scenes, and lengthy QTEs where Kratos kills people in increasingly outrageous and gruesome ways.
@IAMTYLERDURDEN @nyran125 @fog90 Then most people are stupid. I played through all of MGS4 after I bought it for $15 (hmmm can't imagine why it was so cheap!) and it was 9 hours of cutscenes and one hour of bad gameplay. But because the game was so easy, there was nothing stopping me from getting through it. Plus it was the only thing I had to play on my PS3 at the time.
@IAMTYLERDURDEN @hiverious Haha wow well I already know I didn't misspell anythings so now i KNOW you can't read. Maybe that explains why you agree with VanOrd's review? You couldn't even read it but you wanted to argue with somebody about something so you decided to say you liked the review so you could argue with people who didn't like it for obvious reasons.
@IAMTYLERDURDEN @fog90 "Most" people like games because they are dumb apes who don't know any better. OK, that's not fair. People like popular games because they don't know about less popular games. All Halo Reach has to do to be popular is advertise constantly so that it's the only game anyone knows about. And it worked.
Favorable reviews can be bought and look how many stupid people every monotonous release of Call of Duty.
@IAMTYLERDURDEN @nyran125 Hey, way to dodge the question. Except I didn't say either of those things so I don't know what you're talking about? Here, let me clarify: I think Resident Evil 6 is much better than Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5 because the combat system is much better and more fluid.
@IAMTYLERDURDEN @hiverious Have you ever considered that maybe you are dyslexic? Hold on, here's my diagnosis: You are illiterate. Here, I can do what you just did.
"What the hell are you trying to say? Your english sucks."
Ugh. Me dumb. No can read words and think good. Me call you stupid to hide that me stupid.
@IAMTYLERDURDEN @fog90 Who are "most people"? My friends and most gamers I know loved the old Halo games. Then Halo Reach came out and had a really boring campaign and the multiplayer was a nasty hybrid between Halo and Call of Duty, with extra emphasis on Call of Duty, minus anything that might make Call of Duty tolerable like fast movement and snappy controls.
@IAMTYLERDURDEN @nyran125 It's "downhill" because the guy who designed RE4 hasn't designed any of the sequels. RE4 was a well-designed game with action that actually required you to be skilled at fights, and gameplay that didn't involve a bunch of repetitive key gimmicks like the older games. If Resident Evil 1 controlled exactly like Resident Evil 4, would you hate it because now the combat didn't involve mind-numbing auto-aiming?
