Hmm... according to wikipedia

[QUOTE="WIKIPEDIA"]Also, some console manufacturers have begun to include the option to run homebrew software or even an alternative operating system on their consoles, so that a modchip will not be required for those purposes.Siofen

It seems as if there is a forest fire in Ubisofts neighborhood, and simply jumping to the next house over which is not on fire yet is probably not going to save you.

I fear that as consoles become more and more like PC's, ubisoft actions seem like it'll come to no avail.

Heh, don't worry about that. Homebrew software is very tightly controlled and Linux on PS3 can't play anything more than a SNES emulator.

I mean sure, you can hack a 360 (not sure if PS3 has been hacked yet) but you can't connect to XBL ever. It's just too hard to do for most people.

[QUOTE="blackdreamhunk"][QUOTE="MarioJP_"]See this is exactly what i am talking about. We are losing support from left to right and whats more pirates getting away with murder and we are the one paying for their crimes.blackdreamhunk

more like people buying into the lies big cooperate companies! I wonder what would have happened if al gore became presedent in stead of bush. I think the world would have flet a little bite safer.

LOOL

no comment on that.

But one thing i want to stress is whether they are lies or not. My biggest fear is for the publishers we are losing what will replace them??. Becauuse if there are no replacements thats not very good. Seems like what they cannot control they will bail out and move to where the audience are brainwashed like george bush LOL. Yep i can see why they want to not focus on pc gaming anymore. Pc gamers are smarter and console gamers are plain brainwashed and are spoon fed.

People vote with their dollar when it comes to the free market.

Games that sell millions of copies on consoles are selling less than 50,000 on PC.

Can you really blame them? They are obligated to make money for their shareholders and the PC market is probably losing them money.

As I see it the wii is wining, ps3 and the x360 is still in the hole. While the pc is world wide has the best selling games of all time.

As a invester i would bank my money on the wii or the pc! aleast then i know I would be making money not losing it.

I don't know where you get your info, but a PC game is incredibly lucky to sell 250,000 copies, that's considered a massive success.

While on PS3 and X360 every other game sells a million or more it seems. Companies make millions of dollars on map packs and such as well.

It's just much more attractive for 3rd party developers to release games on the PS3/X360 these days.

Because killing people is perfectly fine in America, as long as you don't see the blood.

The few hardcore gamers must be angry with Nintendo, but they are the ones who realize that focusing on hardcore jaded hobbyists isn't exactly the most profitable venture.

You might be angry with Nintendo, but they are laughing all the way to the bank, they are the only console producer that's actually making a massive profit at all times.

In the latest video, I saw white zombies in RE5.

Isn't America a great place? Killing is perfectly ok, as long as you are killing everyone equally:)

I dunno. Am I going to stop recieving any and ALL support due to alleged pirates killing the game this time? :roll:Verge_6

They really blow that out of proportion, Crysis sold very well and EA, who funded the game, said it exceeded expectations.

That Turkish guy with the weird name needs to stop crying and worry about and support the customers who are loyal and who pay for the games.

Somewhere, deep down, I was still willing to give Fallout 3 a chance, even though I set myself up for disappointment and had low standards, what I saw today was truly cringe-worthy.

Yes, it was a short sample, but that is the sample of the core gameplay, what you will be doing for those 100 hours, killing people, it's just so terribly done. Everything looks so bad and clunky, it's really a disaster, im pretty sure this will be the worst game Bathesda has made in a long time, I really see this becoming a major flop.

Good luck getting your wish. I'm looking forward to enjoying what will likely be at LEAST a very solid game, based on Bethesda's pedigree.

The proof is in the pudding, just watch the video.

If you were impressed by that, I really don't know what to say.
