Regarding the XBOX 360, XBOX LIVE is technically an "option", but it is not an option if you want to experience the FULL game that you paid for. I bought BATTLEFIELD BAD COMPANY 2 for $60, without XBOX LIVE I cannot experience the multiplayer....On PSN I can and do. That is a fundamental difference between the 2.
Also, XBOX LIVE is not far superior to PSN, overall. In the same game I shoot people in the head on PSN while in the XBOX version you do the same thing.
Because of a few minor features such as Cross game chat and Voice messaging, XBOX LIVE is slightly better, but not lightyears.
Yeah give me the crap where your system needed the updates that LIVE gave from the start. You still in 2010 cant play your own music in ALL of your games and yet you say its on par. This thread is a joke just like the other parts that you keep bringing up. As for your Battlefield bad company 2 how was it not being able to play online with the ON PAR service for 2 weeks after the game came out oh thats right your couldnt cause the servers couldnt handle it. The same superior service that gave us the socom debacle and the infamous Modern Warefare 2 outage just to name a few. Show me on the PSN where you have the same content that LIVE does cause i have both and it PSN does not have near the amount of content that PSN has.
