For me i look at what games are available and what games are best and how much the system cost. Xbox 360 had the best games and online when i bought mine in 05. I got my ps3 when the 60gigs were being phased out and it only cost me $300 with my tv. But overall i look at library and which games ran best (including exclusives). Real talk if i bought a system solely on exclusives i would have been happy with my N64 when i had it back in the days but i like a library to play also so to me Xbox 360 has it in imo but i do love some of the exclusives on the PS3 and to a certain extent the wii.

i would pay $200 a year for psn because i know sony always have the best products. the different between this and xboxlive is you are forced to pay for xboxlive to play online. xboxlive is a ripoff, psn premium is not because psn is better imho

Your killing me right now what on PSN warrants a service fee you dont even have demos for HALF the games available on PSN that are put up cause most of them if they would have had a demo they would not touch it (Rag doll kung fu). This rumor better be false cause if its true thentheir gonna have a bunch of insta-fail on their hands for a price that high with no incentive to get the stuff done.

The real question is if i am able to pick the games on the game each month i want on psn rather if its mini, psone, or a network game. If its something they select then count me out. But like people said its a rumor and its optional but then you have to ask for how long will it be optional and as for their policy for cross game chat and background downloads of patches is really really stupid both should be included with the free service and as for the second one patches should have been applied that way since day one cause their patching ability is very very HORRIBLE on PSN and when the patches are huge you might as well go do something else cause gaming you will not be doing for at least 20 min.

If this rumor turns out to be true its gonna be epic in SW for a week. then after the fake praise/outrage all will be right in the world after that with people talking about the new games that were announced and the new natal and move and all that other good stuff....lmao

People still do its just very rare to find people on games for windows live there are other servers out there but i cant talk about it on here cause of the TOS for the boards.

Doesnt matter at 32' there is no dissernible difference between 720p and 1080p your best bet is to get one with 120hz samsung has a couple of models and sony also even though i would go with samsung. as far as models look for LED-LCD's they have a great picture and are super thin i think its the 5000 series

Like i said BEFORE i am waiting for E3 to see what they are gonna announce cause going off PURE SPECULATION is insane. I am just saying from their track record i have both systems i probably have more games than you could possibly imagine i just like LIVE way more than PSN but as far as charging for other content i want to see what they offeri am just laughing cause people made fun of people paying for live are now praising the fact of sony charging for stuff on the PSN. I love this arguement these are the same people that are mad that the ps3 online was crappy and basically copied every great feature that was on live. I mean this is the same concept thats on pc cause i can play with the same screen name on ALL the games i have on pc correct. I mean when the ps3 launched you could put up your own background and also have xmb oh wait YOU COULDNT. Then to top off all the complaining that you people keep bringing up all these features have become standard on those platforms ( in the pc's case its to open to have a universal screen name). The PS3 has come a long way but its still got a ways to go.

Now the reason why i am happy that they include all that stuff in the gold package is because you dont have FRAGMENTATION of your user base its either all or nothing. See with the modern warefare 2 stimulus package its what continues to happen you have people that pay for the maps and you have people that wont so then what do you do if the servers are empty because now in order for you to play you have to buy the dlc. where if it was free people would play as normal. But this is the way it is i pay for xbox live cause i see it as the SUPERIOR service out of the 3 consoles far and away. But thats neither here nor there you dont like paying for live but you complain about it while you have other options to play on the ps3 or PC but you will figure it out in due time that most live customers dont care about the fee cause they see the value it provides

Like most people on the internet its always gonna be a gut reaction of fake outrage and the typical ":cry:How could sony do this to us" and :evil:M$ is the devil" crap then for most people who live in the real world it would depend on what they are offering. If its the way it is now and you had to pay then you would see PS3 users running for the hills. But if they added all the stuff they were talking about before then sure i would gladly pay.

But this is sony we are talking about the master of feature snatching. Where if people felt like getting a free PSone game every month they would put a limit on it or take it out entirely cause they would run out of games after only 2 years with the games available now:twisted:
