I am with the majority here and say that it needs to equal 9.5 or 10 and by 10 i mean it needs to be the greatest racing game ever made on CONSOLES before the hermits come in and nuke me from orbit. The amount of time they spent making the game + the fact that the developer said that they dont look at anyone elses racing games means that it should be nothing less than perfect.

Before people call me a lem i am gonna buy the game when it comes out unless it scores an 8.0 or lower (not gonna happen)

I don't have XBL Gold because they charge. My PS3 does the same thing for free. What that basically means is that all my multiplat online games are purchased for the PS3 over the 360. It takes a sucker to pay for something that is offered free elsewhere (assuming that you own a PS3 too.... I can maybe see paying for XBL if you didn't have a PS3).

It also takes suckers to buy the ps3 for $600 with no form of games other than resistance fall of man and an online option that took them literally 3 years to make right and still doesnt have all the features people have been asking for and still are gonna charge you next year for the features that you wanted and fragment the user base so have fun with that its gonna be an enjoyable ride

yes because you're paying for something that is not of quality (so much lag everywhere), you still have to pay for DLC, and 95% of XBL sucks at the games they play

Here is my situation with PS3 users in general:

You have a free online service but then complained literally for 3 years for features that came with the PAID service. Then said people get the features they asked for then complain about the fact of how they were implemented. Then you have the fact they call people who pay for xbox live stupid or dumb or whatever cause they are paying for the features that are NOT on their system.

But this debate is fun cause its the same crap over and over and over again. Same questions same answers ad nauseum its quite hilarious really

TC this is insane. The question you asked made no sense at all. Of course people would take the free one everyone in here would love to have all the features that live has for free. But your saying that all people want to do is play online well the people on the PSN had that and they complained about all the features that live had that they didnt get so what does that tell you?

well i paid $40( the price it was originally supposed to be in the first place)for ODST at $60 micorsoft can kick rocksfor that price and as for super street fighter 4 from what i have played so far it was worth the $35 i paid for it. So no i dont think they are rip-offs at all but at $60 ODST was a rip off IF you bought all the maps on live.

People have spent well over that on games anyway.

Imagine someone buys 5-6 games a year. That's over $300 (with tax) in just one year, $1500 in the same 5 years.

If they shovel out that much for games, a little $50 yearly price tag is nothing.

I concur with Andy if you look at the trophies a person has or better yet how many games you played/bought it would boggle your mind if i thought like you i would be mad about the amount of money i spent on my HOBBY the same way i look at how much money you put into a gaming comp and games

I understood the question its the same reason why pirates dont pay for games on pc. Why pay for a game when i can get it for free its the same concept you would be a fool to pay for gold if silver offered ALL of the same things gold offered. But thats not the scenario look at how a silver members dashboard looks compared to gold there is a difference then finding out that most of the stuff is only available to gold members would piss anyone off. But if someone told me i had to pay for PSN tomorrow i wouldnt pay for it as it is now cause it doesnt offer what LIVE offers period.

Do you know that your question makes no sense whatsoever. You just asked that if silver and gold were the same would you choose the free one or the one you pay for but you gave no differentiation between the two. Like another user said it just would be easier if you asked if you stripped out all the functions of xbox live gold and just gave us str8 up multiplayer would you rather pay for gold or play for free with silver and believe me there is a mega difference on your dashboard between silver and gold. But i understand that you hate paying for live who doesnt but is the money i pay for it worth it of course it is would i rather have all the features for free of course i would but asking questions like the one you asked is just flamebait.

I don't understand how people say Gold is worth every penny, PSN offers an almost identical type of service and Steam offers way much more and yet is free.

Again not everyone has a pc that they game on then as far as PSN offers an almost identical service i wish you could describe this identical service that they provide cause since i have used it all it has been is a xmb that has features jerryrigged into it that not all games can use. Its worth every penny IN MY OPINNION because the features and content on xbox live is way ahead of the PSN.
