I would hope so since that PC costs double the price of a Wii. Since everybody has a TV you don't need to include a in the price of the Wii. Also I bet that is a crap monior.

One more thing my $400 dollar xbox 360 can display 1920x1080 @ 60FPS or 30 depending on the game.

Still one more thing my friends PS3 that was $600 has the sam output as the 360. So what was your point agian.

Good thing my $500 pc also displays in 1080p on my 42" 1080p Sharp, not to mention it runs at a steady 90fps+...which resulted in my selling my 360 and ps3.

That's cool I was just trying to point out that his thread did not really make sense. Of course something that is $500is going to be better than something that costs $250.That is not exactly breaking news.

I just picked up a Vizio 42" 1080p that was $1200 before my discounts, and who would have thought it is better than my sisters 32" that cost $600.

How do you like your Sharp? That was one of the TV's I was looking at. I just happened to get a smoking deal at Costco and could not pass it up.

I am not sure if you like the Wii or not, but I can tell you this is exactly the reason i don't like it. I am so tired of hearing about peoples wives, grandparents and Aunts love the Wii. This is bad for gaming. Why would a company spend millions of dollars to develop an game like UT3 or gears of war when Wii games cost nothing to make and are simple to develop and program. From a business standpoint it seems like there would be no question. If Wii wins look forward to shift toshort overly simple that your Mom can play.

the 360 does upconvert through the VGA cable. I don't know how comparable it is to a stand-alone player because i don't own one.TheBigDrat

I agree. I love the fact he has issue you can buy ammo in the game. All FPS have "systems of delivery" for the ammo. Bioshock chose vending machines that you can hack. Wow? Are you for real? Before you get so worked up about this, why not ask yourself who changes the lights on the outside of the bldgs? I mean it is 4 miles below sea level. The pressure would be unreal. :roll:

Yeah no Kidding, at least there were not glowing boxes with ammo that levitate a foot of the ground. Like a lot of games do.

for a 22 inch, I'm seeing you have a pretty god monitor. Bigger tvs like 26' and 32' normally have more brightness and a slight better contrast ratio. I'm guessing you have your monitor displaying at 1360x768, and that's the best resolution you'll be able to get from that specific monitor. If you plan to upgrade one day, make sure you buy a 1080p hdtv, so you make a decent upgrade.

I just moved up from a 37"1080ito a 46" 1080p.On bigger Tv's 1080p relly makes a difference, On smaller Tv'snot so Much.

just to clarify, i meant the ps3 has better online than the wii.
