Ya know what would be nice? If Sony tv's had PS5 on cloud built-in and you just connected a Dual Sense via Bluetooth. So no console needed, just a tv and controller.
I have a slick 2023 Sony Bravia Class TV that has all the bells and whistles. Definitely the type of tv that could have something like that. This would help Sony sell more tv's as well, plus consumers would get a tv that can do everything the console needs. But I know Sony already got in trouble for selling some of their cheaper tv's labeled as "PS5 Ready." The tv's couldn't fully take advantage of the PS5's without HDMI 2.1 and didn't have VRR and ALLM. They really are a scuzzy company, lol.
Exceptional "value" my ass! I own a PS5 since launch and this has been the worst generation as far as good game releases go. NOTHING!!! For 1 game per year, I should have saved that $500. And for $700 you get to replay 3-4 year old games that MAY look a slight bit prettier? Nah... I'm good. The PS5 hasn't even hit its stride yet.
@mooglestar: I wish I had a backlog of good stuff to play. When I find a good single player game, I love to play through on NG+ with all the crap I already collected, so I can be OP in the game and, at the same time, not bother with the trivial "collecting." I usually always play through a good game at least twice, if not more. I also like perfecting ways to go about missions in games. Usually the obscure, off the beaten path type of ways that devs want people to take, but are never seen when first going through it... If that makes sense, lol. I usually have the most fun with a game on the 2nd playthrough. The Last of Us I played through probably 5 times.
@itsnota2mer: They also refunded the full cost people paid. It wasn't just taken away. So not the same thing, which you know. This actually proves more how digital games can be shut down because they all operate the same when connecting server side.
I was looking forward to this new Dynasty Warriors. I had a craving to play Dynasty Warriors a few weeks ago and saw a new game was coming out, but didn't say when. Glad it's early 2025, unless it gets delayed.
This PS5 Pro is going to be the most useless hardware. The regular PS5 hasn't even been taken advantage of yet. (To anyone besides gamers, that last statement would sound very strange, lol).
