Even though physical is still essentially a license, you're not dependent on someone else to maintain it so you can access it. As long as you maintain your hardware, you're good to go.
I don't believe any company has forcefully disabled a physical console game yet. Not saying it will never happen, but I don't think it's happened so far.
I don't want the Pro at all, but would've bought the 30th Anniversary Bundle. I was in high school for the PS1. Resident Evil and Tekken are what made me buy it back then. Really wish I could've gotten that bundle. These sharks are selling it for $5K on ebay! Bastards. A bidding auction is already up to $2,750. MAKE MORE SONY!!!
Damn! All the Limited Editions are gone, at $999. Actually a good price considering it comes with 2 controllers, the edge and a regular dual sense, that are both L. E. ss well. L.E. controller dock, L.E. console stand, ect... I'll just post what it comes with...
@itsnota2mer: I think I'm too old here, which is probably the same as new now, lol. My account is roughly 20yrs old on this site. It used to say it in our profile. I don't think it's there anymore though.
@guibova: I read it a very long time ago, but the major takeaway was that you can't compare scores to each other. There's different genre's, different consoles/systems used, and different reviewers (each with their own biases).
No, there are no standardized metrics that games have to meet to qualify for each value given. Essentially, each review and score is its own and can't be compared to other reviews on the site.
Imo, this makes more sense. If you take The Legend of Zelda from Gamecube that got a 10, there's been games since then that have improved upon what a 10 was back then, but aren't a 10 by today's standards. If you want to start fresh for every generation, then what about PC releases that don't have generations? It's a rabbit hole where it's probably more accurate to keep each review score isolated from others. 😉
@sippio: Eh... Could be Xbox One S level as well. We really don't need graphics beyond that anyway. Devs have shown they can't get games out in a timely fashion if they're 4K/HDR.
I tried Palworld on GP and I thought it was terrible. I was hoping it would be good because of all the hype, and when I tried it, I couldn't believe that people were praising this heap of crap, lol. Usually I can appreciate WHY a game is liked, even if I don't like it. Not here. I couldn't find any redeemable things as to what draws people to this game. I know I didn't get far enough to experience the best aspects, but a game shouldn't be as off-putting in the beginning as this. Just my experience with it.
Looks pretty cool for a fridge. 3ft tall and pretty roomy. I scrolled through Walmarts reviews and so many people received it damaged. If anyone buys this, I'd do store pick-up.
If you don't understand review scores, you can click on the link right below the score that says "About Gamespot Reviews." I took it as a given that people would educate THEMSELVES.
