@enartloc @TheologicVs 'Owns' is a little exageration, because CD Projekt RED is a public company listed on Warsaw Stock Exchange. Marcin Iwiński has 15,3% of shares.
@Darth_Tyrranus Licensed products are only part of their offer. There are many absolutely non-violent original sets, which are quite popular. Portal is a nice theme, but proposed sets need some tweaks.
2. Portal is non violent, which is very important policy of LEGO company,
3. Portal is a synonym of thinking, solving problems and creativity of community.
I guess you haven't look closer at this project - it has few completely new bricks, which can't be created with such finesse from existing bricks. I think there are enough people to make this set profitable.
@PsyonicPlague There's no one correct way to play with LEGO bricks. You should observe different children how they do it. When I was younger, at first I obviously build a car from the manual, then play with it. But few days later, I disassembled everything and built my own unique creation, then play with it, compose my own scenarios (races, pirate attacks, spy missions etc.)/ Also one set is very often only a base for creating something much bigger. One of the LEGO's biggest pros is compatibility with every other brick set. LEGO = greatest toy ever.
I like emotions and story, but on the other hand I am dissapointed. David Cage is a very smart guy, but good gameplay doesn't exist in this game. QTE's are okay, but there are too many of them. This is not, how gameplay should look in my opinion. It's such a shame, because everything else looks amazing.
@Scarab83 Don't be angry - you supported a great developer and that's a very good thing. CD Projekt RED will have a bit more money to make TW3 and Cyberpunk game. :) I know people who bought few copies for friends just to support the devs. IMO this is a great gesture. Cheers
