I just got back from San Francisco two days ago. Spent a week there and it was pretty awesome. Kind of expensive though. A $6 toll on the Golden Gate bridge?? That's rediculous. Parking can be pretty crazy too.

I'm planning on going to Australia for my next trip. Should be awesome.

Has anyone even mentioned the ORIGINAL Super Mrio Bros. for the NES? As far as impact on the game industry and taking it in a whole new direction, that game made a difference that wouldn't even be close to match until Super Mario 64 and Grand Theft Auto 3.

not to sound cheesy, but i'm thinking of setting her up just to make sure she's the 'one'. I hope she is because I don't want to break up with her, but when she gets drunk she gets flirty with other dudes so i dont entirely trust her yet. anyways, my plan goes as follows:

me, my girl, and my friend jake are gonna chill at my house and have a few beers. i'm going to say im going out to get some take-out food and leave them alone for a half hour. I told jake to flirt with her and try and get in her pants, but not actually do anything if she gives in. now this plan has I think three possible outcomes

1) she rejects his advances, and tells me as soon as I get home (best possible outcome)

2) she rejects his advances, but doesn't tell me anything (this one could mean she's either trying to spare me and jakes friendship, or she could be hiding a lot more secrets)

3) she gives in and doesn't tell me anything (worst possible outcome)

what do you think? bad idea?

Boogie_J

HORRIBLE idea. One, what if Jake doesn't wanna stop at flirting. Two, if she tells you about it and wonders why you're still friends with Jake after he hit on her behind your back and you're forced to tell her you set her up because you don't trust her, it's a wrap. She'll drop you like a bad f'n habit. Everyone get flirty when they drink. Best thing to do is to set her down and tell her that it makes you uncomfortable. Maybe she'll agree to only drink when she's with you. Going behind someone's back is always a bad idea.

TRUST ME!

I've been skipping school, just sleeping in and endin up not going, so my dad thinks I'm pregnant. No matter how many times I've told him I'm not, he won't believe me. Today I didn't wake up on time and my dad had to leave so I didn't go to school. An hour ago my Mom drove from Portland (100 miles away) to come here and yell at me for not going to school, and she kept asking if I was pregnant. I kept saying, no! I'm not that stupid, I'm smarter than to get pregnant at 15. Still, she tells me we're going to the doctor. My dad suggests just buying pregnancy test at Fred Meyers, so she just left and here I am upstairs furiated with the both of them. I kept telling them I WILL go to school, I've missed a week out of the year.

She's at the store right now, and then to the doctors to get me pills.

Are they taking it too far?

I'm their daughter, they've always trusted me, why would they come to the conclusion that I'm pregnant?

It's making me really angry. I don't want to take the tests. /rant

ps.

i went to school yesterday, and i told them i'd go tomorrow no matter what.

i DO want to go to school. i did this morning, but my dad had to leave and my alarm didn't go off.

Some parents just get freaked out when their kids do thing that are out of the ordinary for them and jump to crazy conclusions as to why it is. I say go to the doctor and prove them wrong. Then the ball is in your court and they'll feel bad for having doubted you.

So the overall feeling is thatmost of you wouldprobably go if it was a free tour? Guess they'd have to add a gift shop to make it worth doing. That Gamespot beer coozie is calling my name already. Haha!

The idea hit me because I'm going on an 8 day trip to San Fransisco this Friday. I thought it might be cool to see how this site is ran and get an idea for what goes in to putting it all together.

Realistically, I know it would be intrusive and hard to put together but IF it was something they offered, would you go?

i actually lived in san francisco for a few years and stopped by the gs offices. Theres really nothing interested about them. Although, if your in seattle, check out valve. They have a fun little tour and sometimes u can beta test a few games their working on

Wow. Really? That's kind of cool. Maybe I'll go there next. Hope it's true though. My luck you're just messing around and I'm gonna showing up demanding a tour and instead I'll get handled by security and thrown in to traffic.

I wouldn't pay, I would imagine it to be rather boring :?andyboiii

Think about it. We could all see such exciting things as...the break room and....um...cubicles.

How exciting.
