That's me up on that rock. A huge gust of wind came along and almost blew me off the rock, down that cliff and in to the Pacific Ocean. I almost crapped myself. Good pic though.

This is me in Muir Woods about one and a half months ago on my trip to San Francisco:

Finally, here is one of me (3rd from the left) and a few friends from AIT at Ft. Gordon, Georgia last year. Army Strong! Hooah!

The extra $2 was probably a delivery fee. That's kind of a new thing to me. Ever since I noticed it a couple years back, I only tip when the weather is bad.

Why is everyone on the nuts of the Vice City soundtrack? If that the only exposure some of you have had to 80's music, you're horribly underqualified to post in a thread about the best songs of the 80's. There were some good songs on that soundtrack but it isn't even close to representing the best the 80's had to offer.

[QUOTE="Vundi"] All of those songs actually came under consideration :P But there was no room. It's not a case of those songs not being good enough but the fact that these songs had more impact and influence.clembo1990

What??!! Come on Eileen, Africa, Land Down Under and Heart of Glass had more impact and influence than Thriller, The Reflex, We Are the World, Welcome to the Jungle or One??? We're you even alive in the 80's? I couldn't disagree more!

I was born in 1990, hence clembo1990 :P Thriller was a good song, but it was the video that gets remembered. Welcome To The Jungle is also a great track, but G&R wasn't revolutionary, however awesome Slash was (and is still). Admitedly, Metallica inspired many artists, but unfortunately I don't like their music enough to put them above these artists, nor the follow ups in recent years.

I'll give you that Metalica has sucked for the last 15 or so years but in the 80's they were unmatched. And GNR not Revolutionary?? Are you high? Haha!! When they hit in 1986, Welcome to the Jungle made an impact that was unmatched in the previous or next 3 years. And We Are the World had influence that's still felt to this day. Before that song collabrations between major artists were unheard of. Trust me on these things. I was there and I remember! :)

[QUOTE="Vundi"]

I just got back from San Francisco two days ago. Spent a week there and it was pretty awesome. Kind of expensive though. A $6 toll on the Golden Gate bridge?? That's rediculous. Parking can be pretty crazy too.

I'm planning on going to Australia for my next trip. Should be awesome.

You're right about that toll, but the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel is twice as bad. I believe it might be up to $12 by now. 18-wheelers had to pay $20 on the GW Bridge in NYC, might even be more now.

That's insane. I feel for the people that have to pay those tolls on a daily basis. I couldn't imagine having to pay $12 a day. That adds up quick.
