I don't know if anyone is old enough to remember out of this world. I've heard the metroid comparisons but Out of this World is what it reminds me of. This game is great. Yeah it's 2d but epic did a really nice job with it. Kids these days are lucky to be able to play a game like this...

The 360 is on its way out. It was a pretty good console for a few years, but its best times are behind it. The PS3 offers more to both consumers and developers over the long haul.

While you wait for said games that really aren't any better. The reality is the 360 has more games, better games and they come out faster. Plus the fact 90% of all multiplats run better on it. Yeah i can get a pc and upgrade it every 2 years so i can play the latest and greatest and pray i dont have problems but this is why the 360 is great and a great value for the money. I've played all the good games. So i missed mgsiv so far. So what... There are a handful of games on the 360 that you would have missed if you didnt own one. I'm playing Shadow Complex right now. Are you? It's an awesome game.

Don't give me the whole console exclusive argument either. I'm playing Shadow Complex on the 360 right now and I can't on the ps3. What new do you have? Are God of War 3, Uncharted 2 Heavy Rain and MAG really games that make me want a ps3? Not really. Still waiting on said games and all of these will be out for the 360 by the time they come plus games like Lost Planet 2 and so many others.

I know 1 is a 2d sidescroller and one isn't but the premise is similar as far as the characters and exploration and combat. Which do you prefer? To my surprise I'm really liked Shadow Complex call me crazy. Yeah it's not 3d but its pretty awesome in its own oldschool way with upgraded graphics.

I think both companies suck. Microsoft just sucks less. This is what we've come to as consumers in this world ruled by big business.

I wish reviewers would start reviewing these games as such. IT's almost like someone comes out with a shooter that looks good it gets a 9+. They are all the same after a while and very repetitive. Why are shooters favored so much in reviews?

GTAIV, FAllout 3, Fight Night Round 4, NBA 2k9 are games i played the most this gen. Halo 3 was cool for a while. But eh.... I personally think most first person shooters are really overrated. Call of Duty is lame as well. Killzone... Never got Final Fantasy either. Most games in the 9's this gen i played for a month finished them and never went back. Fable 2/MAss Effect i wouldnt say are overrated or underrated. They got what they deserved. I liked both. They were fun. Both 8's... Nothing that blew my mind. Although Mass Effect was very cool.

I think Gears, Halo, MGS are severaly overrated games. Sur they are good, but are they the most fun i've had playing a game? Not even close... I think they are really overrated. I wouldn't give any of them higher than an 8/8.5 is being generous...

MGS is the most overrated game this gen.
