Wow for sure. Diablo is up there. Madden. NBA 2k series. Fight Night Round 4 i've logged a ton of hours in this game so far.

I definately do. I had a ps3 for a while. It was really overhyped. Especially here. I've since gone back to the 360 and couldnt be happier. IT's the best system this gen easily imo. Better multiplats, online, interface, controller, exclusives are debateable...... I dont really get into the exclusive thing too much though. Both have good exclusives. The majority of games are best on the 360. That's all i care about.

I'd say the only games i bought this gen that were really worth it

Games that were good but more worth a rent. I finished them and didnt go back. I should have rented them and just finished them instead of purchasing...

I think that's everything i purchased this gen.

Is this a new word people are making up. I keep reading people say such and such is being dumbed down on consoles etc... I read ths about Alan Wake. MAfia II, etc.. I could buy this back in the day(ie when diablo was out on the pc and came to the consoles, same with several other games that were extremely dumbed down). But that isnt the case these days. Console versions of these games are identical nowadays and clearly superior in a lot of cases due to downloadable content etc....

For a second I thought this was a guenine thread. Naw just a praise thread in disguise. If you can't claim ownage on it, itsgenerally not discussed.

Well it is a genuine thread. I was just using certain games as examples. I guess i shouldnt have turned this into a 360 thing because i do have different tastes in games and most games i like are multiplats and games that dont get discussed here. I'm kind of surprised for a majority of people i would guess the best games for the most part are multiplats because they can sell the most copies.

To make this not a 360 thread I really have never been a Gears or Halo head for example. I much prefer Fallout. I also really liked Ghostbusters recently. I like blizzard games. I like Fight night a bunch. The bigs 2 is also really good. Battlefield 1943 just got released and is probably the best downloadable game ever.

Have you seen the graphics in Fight Night Round 4 on the 360? It's a ridiculously good looking and playing game.

I realize this is system wars and there is a premium put on hyping exclusive games because it distinguishes one console from another, but I can't help to think that certain games get overlooked here. The sports genre is one for sure. I realize FNR4 is a multiplat and a sports game. Most people don't care for whatever reason but this game is awesome. I can read this forum and games that get hyped up so much but I am having more fun with this game then anything else. I have it on the 360 and it's awesome.

I'm really getting sick of $60 games. With Battlefield 1943 i'm tempted. Or i can get fight night or something else that came out recently. But are those games really that much better? Seems like Battlefield might make sense.
