All this poll says to me is the 360 made a comeback after so many people were casting it off as done and over. Microsoft isn't going away. It's actually just hitting it's stride.

this poll is backwards

1. Sony 45%

2. Microsoft in a close battle for 1st 39%

3. Wii in a distant 3rd. 16%

System wars is the bizarro world officially. But cows can dream. "Sony is winning! Oh wait no they're not."

I went back and forth on this for months. i had both for a bit. I chose the 360. IT's better to me and I don't regret it. But everyone is different. It sounds to me like you are leaning towards ps3 so I would probably go that way.

My opinion was I was kind of disapointed with the ps3 to be honest though. Once all these exclusives actually come out that might be different but in the meantime i'll be enjoying all the games coming out for the 360. I dont think the ps3 has better exclusives right now. That's the thing. MS's announcements this E3 pretty much put the nail in the coffin for the ps3 for me for at least another year. The only advantage it really has is free online although its not better. That's my opinion though..

I would say this generation of games pushes the 360 to it's limit. That's not necessarily a bad thing. I actually think it's good becaues these developers are now taking full advantage of the hardware and have added all the bells and whistles to their games. I was watching splinter cell and effects like having mission objectives and flash backs projected as you play and scenes descbring the mission as it's loading is brilliant. Forza 3 the developers also said the same thing and they are doing things as far as graphically that they couldnt before like adding certain physics and graphical aspects to their game that really take advantage of the hardware. This leads to better gameplay ultimately. You get a complete package and finished games.

I would actually say this is an advantage the 360 has over the ps3. I still didn't get that feeling the ps3 we are seeing what it can do yet and a lot of these games might not have certain features incorporated. They are more just raw graphical prowess. I remember when i had a ps2 and got an xbox at the end of what i thought was the ps2's lifecycle and i actually missed out on a lot of great ps2 stuff becasue it was actually just hitting it's stride. I remember when i sold my ps2 i was playing games and having a blast. I got an xbox and it had great graphics but some of the games really didn't have certain features that the ps2 games did at that point.

Alan Wake. It has the best combination of story, graphics, mystery to me. It was the most interesting title there. It was the title that left me with the greatest feeling of wanting to see more. God of War III was second. Uncharted 2 3rd. Uncharted was the most beautiful game their graphically. God of War was the 2nd best looking and had a great combination of action, gameplay and graphics. But overall. Alan Wake is #1. Splinter Cell, Heavy Rain also get honorable mention. Bioshock 2. Mass Effect 2. blah. Too many titles to list.

Alan Wake is my choice.

they are trying to. They have a job posting to do exactly that. They also have been in talks with blizzard for quite some time to brign a blizzard MMO to the xbox.

I am oldschool gamer and antisocial. I play games when i want to get away from people. Coop can be fun but i kind of outgrew that and me and my friends went our separate ways on that stuff a long time ago. If i were in college that might be different but i'm not.

I honestly don't like that a lot of games now are focusing on coop. I bought the game now i need to round up people every time i want to play it. That sucks imo. It's hard enough getting people out of their daily schedules to play basketball on sundays.

these rumors started because ign's schedule says unnanounced game and crazy people on the internet run with it. It's just a slot they have on their schedule for a game that was announced at the conference that was previously unnanounced. Because they couldn't put the game title at the time. It's just a time slot for games liek f14 maybe for ps3.. it is probably that car game.
