Their PR team only had to google what "8chan" is to know that this was a bad idea. So my bet is that they never did that at all. Quite the PR fail there...
Hope the game will release already. Not sure if I'm in the mood for starting the campaign AGAIN just for the cosmetic bonuses. May come to check those balance fixes, though...
@dlCHIEF58: Just to make a favor for your attention seeking daily needs:
Westwood (after C&C Generals) , Visceral (After Dead Space 3), Pandemic (After LOTR Conquest), Maxis (after Sim City), Phenomic (After cancelling Tiberium alliances), Black Box Games (After Need for Speed: The Run), Origin (after the cancellation of Ultima X) Bullfrog (After cancelling Dungeon Keeper 3) and at least another 5 that you'll have to look for yourself, so do your homework.
All those failed games were either cancelled or changed by profit-driven demands by EA. This information is available online, and easy to verify as fact, and not a "narrative" like you internet nobodies like to call everything that you disagree with nowadays.
An advice for somebody actually working in the industry: Inform yourself and drop the fanboy denial attitude. By trolling and starting arguments for the sake of it, you'll never learn a thing.
It was not a bad system at all, but it was not managed well. Not to mention that it was released in a time in which mobile phone gaming was starting to cap most of the younger audiences.
@Prats1993: Copy-pasting an internet trendy political sentence in a review without political context I see. Does it make you feel special or something?
@playstationzone: If you are judging a game because of the looks, you are approaching gaming as a whole wrong. But yet again, so are you if you choose to a be a system fanboy.
