@Shango4 @Flamewolf75 The ending was still better then the plot in most AAA games, and when you consider just how massive the rest of the game content is, how the hell would the developers fit a huge number of different alternatives onto the disk into order to cater to every player's different expectations. No other game in recent years has been held to the same impossibly high level of quality, so why the hell is ME3 suppose to have a perfect ending(s) when perfection is not even truly attainable
Spiritual successor, problem solved. Bioshock Infinite isn't going to be set in Rapture but it's still Bioshock, launch a sc-fi role playing game that embodies the same themes and concepts and that the first trilogy had. Give developers the freedom to work with a new IP in the same vein as ME, perfect timing with new consoles coming out.
Which business/industry doesn't have a "lust for profits" it's essentially the whole idea of being in business. If the game industry is ridiculed for wanting to make money, shouldn't every other industry get the same treatment? Fast food outlets and giant retail chains (Walmart for the US, Coles/Woolies for Aussies) make billions by hiring young teenagers and giving them minimum wage, those businesses are profiting off kids too but no one seems to care.
The people involved, who care and will be impacted by the potential of new laws aren't allowed to give their opinions, or their opinions are not valid. Where, if anywhere, does that fit into freedom of speech?
Excellent article, it mirrors a conversation I had with some friends recently who told me the time had come for me to buy a Wii U so I can play all the games I already played growing up. There's nothing wrong with any of those games, Wind Waker is still a great game, but I cannot possibly justify buying a WU to re-play older titles when I'd rather have a new experience with new games. I want to see the Zelda series mature a bit more in terms of deeper combat, not unlike the awesome stuff in Dark Souls (just not that hard) and Link or someone in the game needs to open their mouths and speak, its 2013, time for dialogue.
@Spartan_418 Nintendo were making a loss on every Wii U they sold at launch, the system only became profitable after a customer also purchased at least one new game. Perhaps Sony are going down a similar path, it would explain why they've been putting patents on software to stop the console from using pre-owned games.
Nintendo, give us a Zelda game that redefines the series, like Ocarina, without just copying Ocarina, like every other Zelda game. Link needs a voice, the story needs to be emotional and compelling and the combat should be inspired by but not as challenging as Dark Souls. Do this I'll turn my back on Sony and MS and buy a Wii U as is my life depended on it.
So the NRA blames video games with guns for gun violence, not the guns themselves. In response to this, the NRA just released an NRA themed game about shooting things, with guns. What the...?
