Only uber fanboys continue to cling to the "900p Vs. 1080p" differences between these two consoles. Every single person I talk to says the difference between those two resolutions is negligible!! They are both very nice consoles with a lot to offer and both should supply plenty of great gaming for the next 5 years!!! Stop being lame graphics whores!!!
Difference between 900p and 1080p is 600,000 pixels. Another way to put it is that 900p is nearly 1/3rd less pixels than 1080p. That's far from negligible.
Granted, I'm not a giant Action/RPG fan (I didn't like Skyrim), but I'm open to the genre. Played TW3 for a few hours.
Combat is average. Controls feel a little clumsy. Story seems really cliche (like LOTR with villages and invading armies, etc.). Another macho man meathead main character. It looks like as typical of a video game as it gets, aside from it's excellent graphics/animation.
Do any of the points I mention get better after the first 3 hours, or should I just sell the game?
I don't get the macho man thing. What other type of character could work for this sort of story/game? Do you want some emo type? That'd make no sense at all, that person would scream and run away the first time a sword was pulled on him. They do that sort of thing in Final Fantasy games a lot and it always comes off as absurd.
It was basically a tie for the last 2 mnths, and this will probably be a win. Wordlwide our world class exclusives and partnerships will allow a large increase on our competitor, eventually passing them.
It's only been close in NA. Everywhere else PS4 continues to crush X1 month after month and its lead keeps getting bigger.
You would think after the price drop the XB1 would have the edge in sales, but it only managed to win one month of 2015 so far. What does the XB1 need to become the console leader in sales, or is it too late?

Because X1's hardware is crap. Exclusives are a thing of the past, they hardly exist anymore. Nearly everything is multiplatform nowadays and the multiplatform games look better on one system than they do the other the majority of the time. Phil Spencer has done a good job as Xbox head but there's nothing he can do about the crap hardware Mattrick left him with. They're stuck with that.
Cleveland ain't winning the title this year unless the King is playing all 48 minutes the rest of the way.
Yeah, and he could have done that a few years ago. But I don't think it's in him anymore. They gotta find a way to at least stay competitive while he's resting or they don't have a chance.

That's the thing that gets me about Golden State, even when they look like they're losing you look at the scoreboard and it's much closer than it seems or they're even up a few. It's damned hard to beat a team that can score at will without even having to put moves on you, jumpshot after jumpshot that goes in. Lebron tried to beat him all by himself but he's 30 now and has lots of mileage on him because of all the deep playoff runs and it looked to me like he was out of gas late in this one. Every time the coach would give him even a slight breather the Cavs would fall apart. Ain't no way the Cavs can win this if they need James on the floor for 40 minutes or more every night to be competitive.
