Worldwide?

BUUUUUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Seriously, how dafuq do these guys get a job? honest question. In no way in HELL will the One ever catch up the PS4 worldwide. Maybe in US but never WW. You can quote me on this

This.

The guy is nuts. Worldwide X1 might be where PS4 is now at the end of the year but there's no way they'll both be at the same place in 2015. Even with the price cuts PS4 has been outselling X1 worldwide.

I mean, Sony and Nintendo have been pretty good at marketing their 2015 releases. We all know there's even more to come. But Xbox? Are we really counting Quantum Break as a savior? Remedy doesn't make system sellers. Rise of the Tomb Raider? it's not even an exclusive (coming out for 360). Then there's Halo 5 - a game, that in today's age, looks like a copy cat instead of the trendsetter it once was. And when you consider multiplats being better on PS4, what exactly is there to look forward to? MS needs to start looking for their next big IP or open up that wallet so we can get some big 3rd party exclusives. Games like Sunset Overdrive and Scalebound appeal to a niche audience. What say you, SW? Does MS have something big up their sleeves? Are we in for a big surprise or is it just wishful thinking?

They should build a time machine and use it to go back and redesign X1's hardware. Anything short of that and it's second place for X1.

TC: If there are games you would play on the 360, it's worth it. I wouldn't go buy one first. Look at the library. Who knows, maybe you already played all the multiplats and the exclusives aren't your cup of tea. Check the library out.

Kinda strange to me though that X1 is the MS console that made you finally decide to go green. It's the worst machine they've ever built relative to the times they were released. In terms of power it's a borderline-Nintendo console.

I always wonder about new accounts especially after some of them make these kinds of proclamations.

Lol, nearly 2 years is new?

And yeah, it's a borderline-Nintendo console. 1.3 tflops GPU and weak mobile CPU cores in late 2013 is half of what a proper console for the time would have been.

lol Wha? The TC who you were talking about created his account almost two months ago (November 9, 2014) and only has 50 posts.

That's a new account by my reckoning.

Oh, ya quoted me so I thought ya meant me.

Once the developers start depending on the compute units of the GPUs, the Xbone will appear as a dwarf or at least that's what I heard.

It will. 4 of PS4's 18 GPU cores can be used for compute. Only 1 of X1's 12 can. Big difference. Software updates are nice but at the end of the day the reality is that any software update MS does Sony can also do. There's no getting around the fact that MS totally botched the hardware design. They can make it perform better with software updates but Sony will do the same with PS4 and it'll always stay well ahead of X1 power-wise.

Sounds like a decent update. Too bad they couldn't have just built decent hardware then all this jumping through hoops wouldn't be necessary.

Haven't played it but I'll vote for Destiny. I just don't like what it represents: Too much of an online requirement, once there was a bunch of preorders a lot of content was cut to sell later at DLC, appears to be more of a DLC gateway than it is a game.

Hopefully it's a good deal better than the crappy CPUs they provided for X1 and PS4.

For the native population I can see how seeing their homeland being seemingly overrun by complete aliens to the place can be hard to digest for them. They fear for their cultural heritage, civilization, for their values and these alongside others are legitimate concerns unlike what many,

Thia is the main issue. That an with economic disparity wide open borders would cause a large portion of the world population to live on a very small part of the land. I happen to like diversity on a global scale and would want any people or cultures to die out, a master race is not something I support.

Which again is a legitimate concern. But as I stated these societies cannot sustain themselves without immigration; it is a price they pay for their mode of existence of choice. What I'm trying to demonstrate here is the fallaciousness of the discourse of immigration on moral grounds. These societies have the right to openly and uninhibitedly discuss this issue without being shamefaced or apologetic, but they should examine it on accurate and valid basis. People can talk all they want about cultural heritage and purity, but it will be worthless and their leaderships will discard of it unless an alternative is provided.

That is false. Immigration is needed in America and Europe because of the low birth rates. In other words immigrants become the children Americans and especially Europeans refuse to have. Outlaw abortion and immigration at its current levels is no longer.necessary. One can argue that mass immigration is preferable to banned abortion. But regardless which side of that argument you're on the fact remains that immigration is needed to sustain our abortion/birth control cultures, not our societies themselves.
