Lol, Americans and Europeans hate immigrants? All this despite bringing in millions of them when nobody has a gun to their heads to do it. Yep, makes sense.

I think VR could be big but will require very powerful hardware to get there. When actually face to face with gaming characters and environments people are gonna want them to be convincing. I think it could do a lot for story-driven games. Although the stories are often commended plenty of people feel that the gameplay of Telltale games are boring. But suppose something like The Walking Dead was a VR game. The gameplay wouldn't need to be over the top at all, just being there in the middle of a story like that would make for great entertainment.

As far as current gen goes maybe Witcher 3. It's by far my most anticipated release of 2015.

The one thing I like about digital is the ease of switching between one piece of content with another. But physical is superior in every other way. The way things are going with gaming nowadays kinda makes collecting pointless though. Once servers get turned off what you're going to be left with is bug-ridden and incomplete.

I don't know what it is about gamers but for whatever reason we've gotta be the biggest bunch of suckers in the entertainment biz. We are a customer base that loves to be ripped off.

First the DLC and microtransactions thing happened and people were warned that it could easily become abusive if consumers rewarded that kind of behavior and what did we do? Rewarded that kind of behavior, of course. Then came freemium, a rip-off scheme of monumental proportions that has the disgusting characteristic of making much of its money from the most vulnerable of people. Now it's possible to spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars playing a single game. That's also been successful.

So I guess that selling content before it actually even exists is just a natural evolution of things and so far it's looking like that is going to be a smashing success for gaming execs as well. This latest development is very concerning because it enables companies to be less concerned about quality than they've ever been. After all, you've already payed for it regardless of what the final product turns out to be.

Look at Activision, once they realized that millions of copies of Destiny had been sold before the game was even complete they ordered Bungie to cut out much of its content to be sold later as DLC. If it happened in that case rewarding those sorts of practices will cause it to happen over and over again with other games in the future. But history has a way of repeating itself and it's looking to me like gamers are poised to get behind this latest brand of anti-consumer behavior.

Simply complaining changes nothing, what you do with your dollars is what matters and this one is so damned easy: Do not purchase gaming content in advance.

Even more ridiculous is the prices of their HDDs. It ran me $110 to get the 500gb. Then I also had to pay $20 to get a transfer cable cuz it didn't come with it. For that kind of money the thing should have at least been 1tb.

Sweden is a very intolerant country. They don't like Muslims here.

Lol, it'll be a Muslim country in 20 years or so ... by their own choice. If they dislike Muslims so much like you say they do then why have they willfully decided to do that?

Still think Bayo 2 is overrated...but considering all things it wasn't undeserved

I doubt that it is. I played the first one and it was fantastic. Sure, story and character-wise it was pretty silly a lot of the time like lots of Japanese games are but gameplay is what matters most and in that area it was superb. Alas, I haven't played the second one cuz it's on WiiU and I ain't buying WiiU for one game. And it sux cuz I'd get it for my 360 today if I could.

Lost Odyssey has been mentioned a few times in here and there's been no votes for FF13. Yet FF13 got 2 sequels and there's been nothing else for LO. The world can be messed up sometimes.

And for those that haven't played it and are just going by review scores the game is criminally underrated. In fact, of all the gen 7 games I've played it's the most underrated of all of them. Spencer, make LO2 happen.

Edit: So while I'm typing that somebody goes and votes for FF13, lol.

Really need to try Witcher 2.

For me, some of the best ones were Deus Ex Human Revolution, Pokemon SoulSilver and Black (love Diamond too), Dark Souls 1 and 2 (2's better), and more

It's great. I liked it so much that the third one is the game I'm waiting for to make the next-gen plunge. My only real beef with it is I wish it had been longer. But when something leaves you wanting more that's probably a good thing.

Btw, it's one of the free games on X360 next month. :)
