I'm already tired of Giantbomb.com

I went in there, put in an account, browsed the forums, threw up, and came back here.
It's a mess. No order. No mods. No way to navigate. Oh well.
It's over.

Avatar: The Last Airbender encounters Sonic Unleashed!
by Willy105 on Comments
First of all, Avatar. This show is probably the best show on TV right now. The last few episodes (it's heading into the series finale this Saturday) have been absolutely amazing. I don't think there will be a show that every episode has been fantastic, compared to other great shows like Lost and Heroes, where there have been episodes that were dissapointing. Somehow, Avatar doesn't have that.
The last episode, The Southern Raiders, was also really emotional. Few shows, let alone animated ones, can pull of something like that. Not only that, the choreography of the action scenes are phenomenal. This is my favorite show on TV right now. It will take a lot for Heroes to even come close!
Now, second of all, Sonic Unleashed.

This game is very impressive. The parts where Sonic is running are just fantastic. It's just like Sonic Rush but with 3D graphics. That is until they go to the Ware-hog sections, and it all falls down from there. That looks terribly boring, just like Ninety Nine Nights for the Xbox 360! It's a beat-them-up, my most hated genre. I really didn't like it, especially considering the levels look to be long, and the levels for Sonic look short!
I love E3, if only it was always like this.

I had a bad experience in System Wars today.

Some guy thought it would be funny to make a thread comparing screens from Resistance and The Conduit. But he didn't separate them, he put both of the game's screen and jumbled them up randomly. There are two games with the exact same art styIe and enviroments, and with the pictures the same size, jumbled together.
I never played Resistance, and I couldn't care less about The Conduit, so I couldn't tell the difference between the two games. I asked the topic creator if he could seperate them because I couldn't tell them apart.
And then it all went down.
People started accusing me of trolling, and calling me a liar and everything. I apologized, but they wouldn't keep on blaming me. Not only that, they created a mock thread of that one comparing The Conduit and Crysis, and see if I thought they looked the same. I didn't set foot in that thread, and they continued to talk trash about me in both threads (both of them went past the 9 pages mark).
So I am going to just stay away from there for a while, only coming to update the E3 2008 thread and nothing else. Here are the threads if you want to see them: One, Two.
This is a summary:
I blame Tsug.

My Brawl Top 10
#10 - Wario
Wario is one of those characters that is both powerful and can move well. He can trap characters, he can pummel them continuesly and then spit them out. He also has a bike that can be used to hit many enemies at once and then use it's parts for throwing them. Thing is I don't use him that much for some reason. I am better with other characters. But he sure is funny.
#9 - Falco
His A attack is both strong and can deal a lot of damage if you can trap somebody with it. Also his smash attack can carry people up into the sky, so you don't have to worry about hitting them.
#8 - ROB
A very useful character, since he can fly AND use his attacks at the same time. His laser attack can also be very helpful in getting far away enemies and smash balls.
#7 - King DeDeDe
The only one of the strong characters with the ability to fly, he becomes very useful in returning to the stage, since his attacks are slow. But they sure are powerfull. He can also send enemies to help you in battle, which helps.
#6 - Mario
The most balanced character out there, he has some of everything. Sure, he's not the best at any of them, but I can trust him to be able to counter any character's strenghts and weaknesses.
#5 - Captain Falcon
The most powerful character I would use, Mr. Falcon can keep on bringing damages to it's opponents and when the percentage ois high enough, the famed Falcon Punch will send them flying so far they cannot come back. It takes patience, but it feels very good.
#4 - Toon Link
Movable and strong. You can wear enemies down with his powerful items before they even get to you. Then use the spin attack to draw them in and smash them upwards! As they come down, go on top of them (he's fast enough) and hit them with your sword like a pogo stick! Repeat until dead.
#3 - Sonic the Hedgehog
His immense speed is very valuable because it will tire you to catch him, let alone hit him. Of course, using him requires perfect timing, but with practice you can get behind a fighter before he even turns and then drive his fist into his face. Then go to his other side and do it again! His spin attack is also helpful in stages like Final Destination where he can hit multiple enemies at once.
#2 - Yoshi
He was my main from Melee, and he has only gotten better in Brawl. He can move better and he is stronger. Before the enemy comes closer, an egg will increase their damage meter enough that you can hit them with his smash attack and send him flying, then hit him with eggs again and do it again! If you are sent flying, his down B move will get you safely on the ground before they can combo you and his spin is even better than Sonic's in Final Destination since you can turn around and hit them a second time!
#1 - Diddy Kong
This is the one I use the most because of his ability to adapt. He can get back to the stage very quickly with his jetpack, hit faraway enemies with his gun, and he has tremendously powerful air attacks. As long as Diddy is jumping in the air, a kick from one of his leg will bring much pain and send them flying! And if you are sent flying, try to dodge because he will get under you, jump and hit you with his finishing blow that will send you flying to orbit and never coming back.
That's it.
The thing also is, I only ever use most of the time #1 to #4-5. The others I barely ever use since I don't need them.
Also I played a match with somebody outside US for the first time today. I gathered up UK and AU friend codes, and there were over 5 games in session today. I joined Burns' game and it was a bit laggy. But the other ones I joined were quite lag free. Brawl will last a very long time.

Because I just can't afford a $30 DS game or a $50 Wii game anymore. So I have decided to look back a few years and get games from the old days that I missed. I have missed hundreds of amazing games! So I have started looking back!
My new game:
Hearing people say so many bad things about Sonic nowadays just sickens me now that I have gotten this game. Because Sonic has been doing absolutely fantastic in his handheld games. He hasn't had games this good since the Genesis days.
People keep on saying that this game is just keep moving left and you win type of game. They should play the game first. There's more platforming here than most platformers out there. In fact, most of the time you are jumping up or going down, not left or right, because of the new emphasis on altitude.
In fact, the upcoming Sonic Unleashed is exactly like the gameplay of Sonic Rush,as I have found out by looking at it's new trailer. Dimps is a fantastic developer, and since they are making the Wii version of Unleashed, it should be great!
