Playing online in Smash! First Impressions

2148-7874-1867

Now that's over with, now to the game:

I got a lot of friend codes yesterday! Thanks! I am always happy to play with somebody. Even if I lose a lot.

My first match was with Animorphsfan.

We played 5 rounds, and there was a bit of lag, but nothing game breaking, in fact, it wasn't annoying at all, just made the game a bit slower.

I played with the Wiimote sideways. As it turns out, it plays great! Unlike the reviews say.

After that, I played with Prince of Shapeir.

I was beaten pretty quickly. For 5 straight matches I came out last. But then on the last one I beat him, and then he just left. COWARD!

It was completely lag free. No problem.

The last one I played yesterday was with someone called Brian. I got his friend code, but I don't remember his username.

We were pretty equal in skill. But he beat me thanks to Falco's Landmaster.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the online play on Brawl. I find it the best part of the game.

But I don't think you can unlock characters and stages playing online, which is a downer, as I have only unlocked three characters so far and no stages. I have logged in only 3 hours.

See you in the battlefield!

Super Smash Bros Brawl First Impressions.

Now that we are done with that, now to the game:

Turning it on: That took a while to load. Maybe too long.

Main menu: No pointer control? Lame.

I noticed the AI is a lot smarter and smarter. I used to beat level 9 guys in Melee, but I am getting a pounding in Brawl at level 3. After that, I created my own patented control scheme that only I can use, and I was back to speed.

Great use of the speaker.

I got the smash ball! But I didn't know how to activated, so I played a bunch of fights with the smash ball without activating it! I then learned you have to press B. Silly me.

Went into SSE.

Cutscene! It looks like it could be made in real-time. The in-game graphics look better!

The levels are flat and bland. I expected more.

Now to stage editor.

Wait, you have to unlock parts!?! Darn it!

Back to playing normal matches.

Very fun!

Went to ****c mode.

It was great.

Went online.

I was kicked out!!!!!

Went to friends mode.

Wow, it was fully featured!

But no friends yet. Maybe later.

This game is great, except the loading times. They could have polished it more.

Not much to do here now. Kinda boring.

I look over my posting history, and no new posts.

No new posts at System Wars Monthly or System Wars Bets.

No new posts at Retro Wars.

No new posts at Gamespot Games.

There's no work around here anymore.

It's actually starting to feel more and more like....free time.

BORING!

A new animation from me! And a new System Wars The Game screen!

That's the commercial for Nintendo Dream's Brawl Fest tournament. Guess from what commercial it parodies?

The Halo 3 Mountain Dew commercial? Maybe.

Now notice there's 2 minutes of nothing after the commercial ends. That's a glitch. Don't worry about it.

And here's a glimpse at SW The Game:

I am officially busy.

Things to do:

1. Finish System Wars: The Game as soon as possible.

2. Make good pictures for Iron Shop '08.

3. Manage submissions for System Wars Monthly February Issue.

4. Get a virus away from my computer.

And all that with very limited time on the computer.

So I have very limited posting time on Gamespot and Nintendo Dream.
