@dinamo4ever: You do realize that several other gaming sites gave ELEX the same grade or even lower grades?

GBAtemp: 4/10

Nerd much?: 4/10

Playstation Universe: 3/10

WeGotThisCovered: 3.5/10

Game Revolution: 2.5/10

PSX-Sense.nl: 2.5/10

The problem clearly lies with the game, and not with GameSpot or IGN.

@AzureBonds76: We'll see. I ran AC: Unity and AC: Syndicate with in-game Vsync Off, and Adaptive Vsync enabled for the game in the NVIDIA Control Panel. That worked absolutely flawless. It would lead to tearing if the framerate dropped below 60, but absolutely zero stuttering. And normally speaking the framerate is locked to 60, and you have both no tearing and no stuttering. The games ran really well like this.

What works really well for me in Ghost Recon Wildlands is using the in-game menu to cap the game to 50 fps, and disable vsync. There's very little tearing, and no stuttering. Runs really smooth that way.

In case Assassin's Creed Origins wouldn't run well on someone's PC, they do have in-game options now for capping the framerate. You can cap it to 30, 45, 60 or 90. You can also set up dynamic resolution scaling with a user-specified target framerate of 30, 45 or 60 fps.

@The_Stand_In: You forgot big blockbuster franchises such as Titanfall and Dragon Age.

You also forgot their sports games:

- FIFA

- Madden NFL

- NBA Live

- NHL

You also forgot the upcoming game A Way Out.

Furthermore, you also forgot the "EA Originals" series, which is EA's program for indie developers. Upcoming games from EA Originals include Fe and Sea of Solitude.

Then there's still Rory McIlroy PGA Tour, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 and the MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic left to be mentioned.

@The_Dragon_Born: The game supports dynamic resolution scaling on PC. If you leave that enabled, I think you will be fine. It means you won't be playing native 4K in demanding scenes, but a (slightly) lower resolution. It is upscaled to 4K by the game itself, which only causes a slight softness. There's still plenty of sharpness in the picture. It will look amazing and run well.

@gameflak: The greatest annoyance is that the friendly icon over people's heads is (near) invisible at great distances. Hopefully they will hotfix that.

You are most affected by this bug when sniping or flying.

@Warhearted: Why wouldn't we wait?

1) Buy a console for Destiny 2, just so you can play 2 months earlier? Sounds pretty dumb to me.

2) Play a shooter with a controller? When I could play with a mouse? Sounds pretty dumb to me.

3) Play at 30 FPS? When it isn't very heavy on PC and easily runs at 60 FPS? Sounds pretty dumb to me.

4) Pay for XBOX Live Gold or PS Plus? When there is no subscription needed for the PC version?

So, when choosing the PC version, you are saving a ton of money by not buying a console. You are saving a ton of money by not subscribing to XBOX live gold or PS Plus. You get to play a first person shooter with a mouse, which aims like 10,000 times better. And you run the game at 60 fps instead of 30 fps. Boy oh boy, what a surprise people wait.

RPS? What is RPS GameSpot? I think you mean RSP: Rental Server Program.

I never understand websites that add typos to what they copy and paste from elsewhere. What was wrong with the content you copied? You thought it would look better on GameSpot by adding typos?
