I bought AC: Origins today on Uplay for 40 euros (PC version). The normal asking price is 60 euros, but there is a 17% discount, which brings it down to 50 euros. But there is an additional 20% discount for spending 100 Club Units. These discounts can stack, try it out for yourself, I guarantee you, they stack. This brings the price down from 50 euros to 40 euros. A pretty good deal.

I also bought the complete edition of Rainbow Six Siege for only 36 euros (contains game + 2 years of DLC). The normal asking price is 90 euros. There's a temporary discount of 50% (for another 47 hours), which brings it down to 45 euros. But there is an additional 20% discount for spending 100 Club Units. This brings the price down from 45 euros to 36 euros. A very, very sweet deal.

I didn't feel the need to wait for Black Friday. I seriously doubt if you'll get a better deal on Rainbow Six Siege (Complete Edition) then. And yes, you can probably get AC: Origins for slightly less then, but I didn't want to wait.

@BigFeef: Really huh? I need to get my head examined? I pre-ordered the standard edition for the PC for 53,99 euros on Origin. I will not spend further money on this title. I will unlock everything I unlock by simply playing the game. I will enjoy playing the game even when I'm not MVP. The game runs like a dream on my GTX 1070, I get excellent performance at 1080p max settings. And best of all, there is a TON of content in the game, which will expand for free after release. There are so many maps in this game already, and you get free maps after release. You don't have to buy a season pass to get these maps. A quite excellent value proposition.

@Superzone: Maybe because EA gives the games a HUGE budget? And therefore the production values are INSANE? The graphics and the audio are both of excellent quality. And then there's the content: there are so many maps... And you get new maps for free after release through free content updates. And every map plays very well and looks very nice.

The gameplay and the shooting feel really nice to me. It's all very well done.

Let's be honest, if this game was an indie made at 1/50th of the budget, it wouldn't look better nor play better.

@ferval100: On release day it could still download a patch for the game. But you will already have nearly everything downloaded.

@dlCHIEF58: Sure, sure, keep believing in your little dreams. In the mean time, I watch the framerate analyses on YouTube and see that there are slightly less drops below 30 on the Xbox One X. But that, similar to the PS4 Pro, there are still drops below 30.

And I've been gaming at 60 fps on the PC for years and years.

@dieofnv2: Really huh? If you think the enhanced version of Final Fantasy XV for Xbox One X will look anything, anything like the Windows Version of Final Fantasy XV at ultra, then you are completely delusional. Completely.

@lordstrategery: So TWO games have a performance option. What about ALL THE OTHER GAMES which don't have a performance option?? Idiot.

Oh Gears looks well? What about soooo many other games which look like complete trash compared to PC ultra???

@Mcbrady: That's complete and utter nonsense. For many many titles the performance benefits come down to slightly fewer drops below 30 fps. The game will still be capped at 30 fps, but have fewer drops below.

The games also do not run on max PC settings (ultra) on the Xbox One X. The games usually run at far lower settings than that. The main visual benefit comes from downsampling. The game is rendered at far below ultra settings but on a higher resolution than 1080p, and then downsampled to 1080p.

@bravenz: I have good news for you from an OFFICIAL source:

https://twitter.com/BungieHelp/status/925475931375861760

"In addition to Update 1.0.6, Destiny 2 PC will receive Hotfix 1.0.6.1 to address issues impacting Clan rosters and performance degradation."

In conclusion, the issues you mentioned are fixed in Hotfix 1.0.6.1. for PC which should already be deployed now.
