@doodoflife: Not fair at all. This is a hugely popular game. It's immensely popular and rapidly increasing in popularity as well. And it looks like trash on the Xbox One (X) AND has very severe performance issues. What did you expect? For GameSpot to ignore this?
And GameSpot did not post all the other Digital Foundry videos because GameSpot does not equal Digital Foundry. Digital Foundry is on YouTube, and you can subscribe to their channel, so you can watch all their videos. If GameSpot were to post all of them here, well, that would only happen if they were affiliated, or if it was sponsored content. But, they are not affiliated. So, GameSpot does not post all those videos here. Only occassionally, GameSpot selects one of their videos, for example to write an article about a game that has performance issues.
@triton1977: The graphics on the base Xbox One are almost offensive though. Quite ugly. And the performance is baaaddd. It's not a good showing at all:

I'm honestly offended by how bad the water looks on Xbox One compared to PC. On PC it looks like water, on Xbox One it looks like a giant oil leak. Where's the sunken ship that was filled with oil? (See 1:00 in the linked video for the water comparison)
@7tizz: My comment being slightly off-topic is rather the result of YOUR comment being completely off-topic and completely irrelevant. I simply happened to reply to such a comment.
@asneakypoptart: Oh, I'm very sorry, if that is the case for you. Are you absolutely sure you entered the code correctly? An error usually means the code is not accepted. Did you also try copy pasting the code, instead of entering it manually? The code should always be accepted. 20% Off is a bigger discount than 17% off, so even if the discounts don't stack, it should still apply the BIGGEST discount, which is the 20% off.
The discounts stacked just fine for me, and I got Origins for 39,99 EUR. I am using a local version of Uplay though, which could explain the difference. The local shop that I use could be programmed differently than the shop you use.
If you can't get it working, do keep the code that was given to you. It could be useful for a future purchase through Uplay.
Edit: maybe this helps? https://support.ubi.com/en-GB/Faqs/000024885/Redeeming-a-promo-code-via-Ubisoft-Store Are you following those exact instructions?
