@hrv_25: Thanks for clarifying that. I wasn't aware of that.

@jasperwest: You're worried about the console crowd? Lol, how about the mobile players? As a mobile player, there's no way in the world you can beat PC players... This is a very bad idea...

@ixidjfrizzixi: If you read actual inscriptions from the Roman times, things like IIII representing 4 and VIIII representing 9 are quite common. This is actually also the way the system worked, in its first iteration. It was a very simple system which worked as follows:

I, II, III, IIII, V, VI, VII, VIII, VIIII, X.

The substractive notation (e.g. IV and IX) was added to the system later, but VIIII and especially IIII were still used quite often.

@tuxedocruise: I think the difference is easy enough to spot. Cybercurrencies are primarily used for criminal purposes. You cannot exactly say the same about fiat currencies, now can you?

@jimmythang: Don't you think the words crime or criminals should have been included in the article, though? You cannot give a fair and complete overview of what bitcoin is without those words.

The use of bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies are associated with tax evasion, money laundering, contraband transactions, and extortion. There have also been large thefts of bitcoin (this is mentioned in the article). Furthermore, payments for illegal goods and services are very often done in bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies.

GameSpot writes: "In addition to Paragon and For[t]nite, Epic is working on a free-to-play Unreal Tournament game"

That project, the new Unreal Tournament, has been put on hold a half year ago. Already for a full half year there have been no updates for the game, and no new blog posts. The developers have been shifted over to Fortnite, mainly to work on a new map for the Battle Royale mode.

As it stands now, the future of the new Unreal Tournament game is bleak. They could, however, resume development at a later point in time.

@jako998: This is from Nvidia's article: If you've played on the new desert map on the pre-release test server, you'll have seen for yourself just how much more optimized PUBG v1.0 is.

Everyone is reporting this. Literally hundreds of Youtubers have reported massive performance gains from the final release code. You will get this final release code on December 20, and then the game will hopefully run a lot better for you.

I would expect further optimization post-launch, but December 20 is a big day for the game, moving out of early access.

@jako998: No, what you are doing is comparing the Early Access version to the release version. That's comparing apples to oranges. The Early Access version is very heavy, very buggy, very unoptimized. Nvidia tested the final release code, which had tons and tons of optimization applied to it.

You can compare your own performance to the performance Nvidia had as soon as you get your hands on final release code yourself. Which probably means December 20 at the earliest, unless you're a famous Youtuber or something.
