Nice patch. The new maps do look very old school to me. The graphics of this game are nothing to write home about. This game has to make up for that with awesome gameplay. I'm not sure if it totally succeeds in that, but I have sunk a lot of hours into the game.
At a time when PC ports seem to routinely fall short of their console counterparts, we have to applaud Rockstar for ensuring GTA V's PC version didn't suffer that same fate (even if it did take longer than we expected).
Strongly disagree with the author there. PC releases are often better than their console counterparts. I play all my PC games at a constant 60 fps, 1080p, with improved graphics over the console release (much larger draw distances etc.). I can't stand playing on a console with 20-30 fps and short draw distances.
@Bread_or_Decide: I play so many new titles that I barely have time to play those classics. I have a few dozen recent titles installed, which take up nearly all of my gaming time. And I do enjoy good graphics.
After having seen GTA V on PC at high settings 1080p, I think it's impossible to buy a game that looks like this. I'm used to graphics which are beautiful (GTA V, Witcher 3, Far Cry 4, Dying Light, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Battlefield 4, Star Wars: Battlefront). I just can't go back to this uglyness.
The most important statistics are missing: - what % of walker assault games were won by the rebels? - what % fighter squadron games were won by the rebels?
In both games the rebels win much more games than the empire. Walker Assault on Endor is the worst offendor, the imperials almost never win there.
These game modes need patches to fix the balance ASAP.

Don't you think Battlefield 4 has had a bit longer time to make sales?? Huh? It's been out for years, that's years of sales. Star Wars hasn't even been out a month. And most people do not buy in the first few weeks but much later. Look at the Psychonauts game, sold piss poor in the first few years. But every year sales increased. Five years after release the game was selling faster than at release time. If you really think Star Wars has seen almost all sales already and will not gain momentum... well I can't swear here. After looking at that Psychonauts picture you should have learned a very important lesson: pre-order sales and sales in the first few weeks are only a small portion of total game sales.
Not every game has to have Counter Strike like numbers of people playing. I play games online with a total player base of like 500 players. Even those games aren't really DEAD. Star Wars still has 140000 people playing AT THE SAME TIME, and a total players of in the millions. That's a HUGE game. Maybe not counter strike huge, but still huge. Only the worst kind of people would call that dead. That's like completely mindless.
@Bread_or_Decide: Definitely agree. I want a new Elder Scrolls game IN A NEW GRAPHICS ENGINE. I don't care how long it takes, just build a new engine. I don't want another game where you get drops in the city from 60 fps to 35 fps.
