@jackhague: Jeez man, it's a free update for everyone who purchased the original game. Check the official site:
In two weeks, The Battle of Jakku launches. Taking place 29 years before the events of Star Warsâ„¢: The Force Awakensâ„¢, The Battle of Jakku is a free DLC pack* that adds two new maps (including one for popular modes like Walker Assault and Supremacy) and a new mode to the game.
* REQUIRES STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT FOR APPLICABLE PLATFORM (SOLD SEPARATELY)
So, the star after free DLC pack means you need to have purchased the game itself. If you have purchased the game itself, then the battle of jakku is a free update.
@Karmazyn: It's a free update for everyone. All you need to do is download the update and play. How hard can that be? You don't have to pay anything. Jeez, these days people whine about everything while not even understanding what they are whining about. As long as they can whine they are happy.
@tommynj: Mechanically the mode is quite different from Rush. As both smosh150 and Spartan_418 above explained already.
The other game modes also feel very different from what I'm used to (Battlefield 4). Not necessarily better, but different. The game may not be better than Battlefield 4, but it is fun. And that's what's important.
@the-games-masta: I've played it for about 20 hours now, and it's still great fun. I will have to play it for many more hours to unlock more powerful star cards and more powerful weapons. For the first 50 hours or so that you play the game you are constantly unlocking new stuff, so I guess that's the minimal amount of time you will enjoy the game. After you have the gear you want, the core gameplay is still fun and the super awesome graphics do help.
There's still about 5 gamemodes I haven't played yet. There's still tons of gear I haven't unlocked. This game is definitely fun for much longer than 10 hours.
@Skat0rzZzz: LOL. Arkham Knight runs at a solid 60 fps on my system, at the standard settings (1080p) Assassin's Creed Unity runs at 60 fps, 1080p, mix of high and ultra settings, FXAA.
Both games are totally playable and run just fine on my system.
@Skat0rzZzz: Well, if you really feel that way, why are you not capable of learning from your mistakes? Simply buy all games 3 months after release and not earlier. All your problems are solved.
@lonesamurai1: I have AC: Syndicate running at a very solid 60 fps, high settings (even set environment quality to very high). Specs: GTX 970, i5-4590, 16 GB RAM, Windows 10 x64.
CPU usage varies between 60% and 100%, depending on the area. So make sure you have a strong CPU if you want the game running at a solid 60 fps. The game is multithreaded very well, with each core utilized the same amount.
