Everyone said the same thing about the PS4 Pro, I didn't listen, and was pleasantly surprised by just how much better it truly was. I'll still be getting a PS5 Pro, and I hope it's a similar feeling.

@xnshd: I get what you're saying, it's not that the game is bad until that point, just rather slow since there is so much world and character building to build the narrative around the story. I was hoping it wouldn't be that involved the entire time, and I was committed to giving the demo a fair chance since I loved Unicorn Overlord so much. I'm glad I did, because I understand first impressions are very important, but once you get the freedom to do as you please on a less linear path things open up. There are a LOT of games that do that, just perhaps not on such a large scale.

@sakaixx: To this point in the year Unicorn Overlord is my personal goty. Atlus is killing it.

Wow... I played the demo and really enjoyed it, but was expecting an 8 perhaps a 9 max. That said, opinions are what makes the world turn. All I know is that the first couple hours are extremely slow but things really start to pick up after that. Either way I have the game pre-ordered and ready to go.

Still up in the air, I'm going to need full screen and no region locking. Still, MvC2 is probably my favorite fighting game of all time.

This game blows FFVII Rebirth out of the water, if you're on the fence then just get it, as of right now it's my current leader on my personal Game of the Year list and is only one of two games to break my personal top 100 in a few years (the other being Granblue Fantasy Relink... great year in gaming so far). Sure we're only a quarter of the way through the year, but it's going to take something truly mind blowing to make this game move from that spot. I have DD2 and Rise of the Ronin ready to go for the 22nd, but I'm not confident they will be better games after having played this masterpiece. 2nd on my list right now is Granblue Fantasy Relink, and 3rd is surprisingly The Outlast Trials, for now.. although it will likely move down the list it's a great game to play with a couple buddies or one of your kids.

I've been wanting a new Lego Racers game for years, and this seems to be a spiritual successor at the very least. Extremely intrigued since in my opinion that game is one of the best Kart Racers of all time.

My favorite JRPG franchise of all time. Perhaps my avatar gives it away.. lol.
