@WitIsWisdom: Game is the same old garbage. MUT is a complete scam and the rest is a retread. New features aren't even new and you're a fool if you believe it is.
I don't give a flying rats left nut if you agree with me or not... lol. That's the beauty of opinion isn't it? It's always so easy to be so cool and edgy about any popular mainstream game and dislike it because others say you should. I play just about everything though... and I like sports games too.
I'll be getting NBA 2K 23 when it releases and I'll also be getting MLB The Show 23. If Live was releasing this year I'd get that as well. I'm sorry if that hurts your feelings.
Also, I haven't spent a penny on MUT and my lowest card is an 83 overall with about 25 hours in the game and I haven't lost a match yet... it isn't that hard to build a no money spent team. I actually enjoy the grind and challenges anyways.
Like I said before the precision passing is a cool feature whether it's entirely new or been used one other year in the past... difference is that it works really well now and makes passing more challenging but also more rewarding. Also this year you can actually bust open run plays and it doesn't feel like the defense magically teleports in front of you...
How much time do you have on this years game? How about the previous two?
Either way, to each their own though.. I hope you find whatever it is you're looking for.
Best Madden game in the last several years. More responsive controls and player controlled passing with zone and height makes catching the ball more skill based. Running feels more intuitive and blockers don't magically teleport 10 ft. on higher difficulty levels.
NFL 2K5 is still king, but this game is up there as one of my favorites already. Although the MUT menus hanging up and not giving rewards until after you close the app and re-open it sucks...
Good to hear they are adding 2 new one life game modes for 6v6 gameplay. Hopefully they add Cyber Attack again as well and we will have 4 separate round based game modes in the game.
@spg900ny: Only one of the three games listed is multiplayer...
SONY also said just a couple days ago that their single player narrative driven story telling games aren't going anywhere and that they are simply adding more multiplayer games to the mix. You can have both without losing the other, which is why they have been adding/buying new studios to help round out their entire portfolio.
Kind of like MS copied mid gen consoles, games first mentality, motion technology, HD DVD's, backwards compatibility, VR, game streaming, and following the success of SONY's PS1 by jumping in the market after success in a new era of gaming was already defined.
All 3 are guilty of taking, stealing, borrowing from each other, but if truth be told I actually feel as though both have taken more from Nintendo overall throughout the years.
