@Mc_Trickz @warhawk-geeby how is the internet preventing you from visiting a friend? if anything it has made it super easy to arrange get togethers with my friends so we can play the shared/split screen games from days or yore.
@warhawk-geeby I don't know about you. But last time I checked my friends still play shared/split screen games still. Sure very few of them are from the current gen. But that doesn't stop us from getting together to play the games that did support it from the last couple decades. Just because we get newer tech doesn't mean you are forced to stop playing your older stuff and get rid of it >.>
Played the Vita version. Was impressed by the net code being light years better then Brawl's net code. Characters, control and battling system feel great. Even with all that said. I feel this game is probably best played with friends on the PS3. So I would probably recommend people buy the game only if you have friends to play with IRL on your ps3. As playing online with the Vita version felt like it lacked that great feeling you might have had, if you friends IRL to play with. Also I hope to see more then one game mode by the time the final game is released. If not I will wait till it goes to $20 on the PS3 before buying it.
From what I seen with kinect games. Maybe the game makers need to think outside the box. Instead of focusing on one single controller. Why not consider making games that use a regular controller. After all if a person has a kinect with their 360, chances are they have a regular controller as well >.>
That way games can focus control when it is absolutely necessary with a traditional controller. Then use the kinect for sequences that are meant to make a stronger bond between characters or certain events throughout a game? Because how hard it is it for a player to put a controller down for a few mins to do a kinect section then back again?
Just a crazy idea I had. But what if a dev. actually considered it. Could we possibly see a higher influx of good Kinect enabled games if they did something like that?
Also I know some games use just the mic portion of the kinect. But why the hell couldn't they use a regular headset to do the exact same thing? or are devs struggling too hard to get a kinect sticker slapped onto their case of the game to pretend that they are being modern?
@zzamaro Kojima cares about the stuff he creates. So I am 100% nothing bad will happen. And if something bad did happen. I would honestly be surprised and disappointed in him for the first time.
Kinda curious if they will have a vita version at the same time :/ Since I actually enjoy using the Transfaring feature. And have played the most MGS in my life in just the last 3 months thanks to it.
@biggest_loser look on the bright side. If its a bad mod/remake. You can always ignore it as it was fan made. But if its good-great then you can praise the hard work of the fans to bring us something truly amazing.
@MrPoajn one of the main problems with nintendo. For me at least (not sure if it applies to others). Is the fact it feels like after my entire childhood growing up with them. I feel like I am being betrayed by my best friend. They have released very few hits and in between long spans of time. As opposed to the "good ol days". Where it felt like every other month was something great to expect from nintendo. Hell I loved every zelda game. Up till I played Skyward sword and Spirit Tracks. But it feels like they spat on the series and dumbed it down with boring unresponsive game mechanics :c And that isn't the only series that had a crappy game this gen. Then there are series they haven't touched in ages. Like F-Zero where I would love to play another one. But they haven't even considered it yet. I wish they would make harder games as well again.... or hell get this.... add a goddamn difficulty option for their games. So the newbies, fans and hardcore people can get more enjoyment out of it. Opposed to a single crowd :/ Its like nintendo products are the only games I notice to constantly not have a difficulty setting, while everyone has been doing it for over a decade now :/
I just keep wishing and dreaming that Nintendo will be that great company I can go to time and time again and get a rich experience every time. But obviously it didn't happen with the Wii. And I am definitly not holding my breath for the Wii-U till they can earn my trust back.
Well all Nintendo has done to gain my interest is Pikmin 3. They need at least 4 more reasons before I ever consider buying a Wii-U. And I have been reading and watching all the news releases....... :c
