Still skeptical of the whole storyline aspect to Rising. So not going to hold my breath in case they drop the ball. But action/gameplay wise, I trust them. Because in that department they always know what they are doing.
@nameaprice @tizmond can't say something might be better before it is out xP But imo MGS3 was the best and got me the most engaged in the story with the characters and the great interactions between them.
The second time playing through MGS4 I had a friend over and we watched the Snake and Ocelot fight at the end. And while they are fighting over the needles I said "Since you don't know what is going on. The two of them are diabetics fighting for their insulin shot right now or else they are going to die." Friend asked if I was serious. I only wish I could have kept a straight face and said yes :c Because of me thinking that up on the spot as a joke I can never take that fight sequence serious ever again :c
Kinda silly timing about this. We are starting to hear rumors and see pics about another PS3 model (just like with the PS3 original slim model......) And now its like "hey guys you should really buy one right now...... we aren't trying to increase sales of the old model before introducing the new one..... totally not guys...... trust us.....". That is what this reeks of to me. Though either way the PS3 no matter what model you got is still pretty good and probably the most played system next to my PC of this gen. Just hopefully for the PS4 they perfect the ideas from this gen that they never implemented correctly.
@BYS2 Also cannot forget that they do not run their games at full settings. Meanwhile a home built PC can if it has the power. Thought it was for the one game. Then tried others and realized that wasn't the case.
Trying out the free demos on onlive was great for me. It taught me one key lesson. As fast as my internet is. It is still not fast enough to enjoy the service as there is lag and the picture quality isn't the best when you compare it to a newly built PC.
It would be cool if they released a update for LBP 1+2 where it allowed you to make levels for All stars within a designated size with a certain selection of tools of course. Then you could export them into All stars for play.
I own a vita and I will admit. Financially they try as hard as possible to get your money and offer little in return.
First off overpriced system with no memory card.... I was lucky and got mine with a free starter kit when I bought my Vita. And if you do not get lucky and get a free card. They are EXPENSIVE. IF anything sony is just motivating pirates to hack the system that much sooner and use it to its true potential.
Poor game selection..... it is very apparent that the system lacks games no matter what store you go into. Even when you buy a hard copy game, you feel like you are being ripped a new hole. As there is no manual or insert with the games you buy.... except for online passes.
UI is a clusterf***..... UNLESS. You take time to organize it to your liking. Which took me a good 30 mins to rearrange just 25 buttons across 5 pages :/
Online gaming.... goddamn joke. Seriously online passes for half the games you buy.... SCREW YOU SONY AND YOUR GREED :c No wonder why I avoid online gaming. Even when I bought the games brand new and have unused codes :/
And PSN is a goddamn ripoff as well. Never ever buy games through the store unless you are rich and can afford a bigger memory card. And don't mind paying the exact same price as a boxed copy. You would think you might get at least a $5 discount over the hard copies :/
I hate to say it. But I am looking forward to when there is some cool stuff made by the community after the machine is cracked. At least then I might get my $250 worth. Hell a few years ago it was worth it to own 2 PSP's, legit PSP and a cracked one to try out some of the custom apps and games people made for it.
At least we got MGS HD collection to keep us happy.
