I swear people that work for steam are advertising on these forums for free. 2 bucks seriously? The game should be free.

Didn't understand that.

For those who don't know its 2 dollars on steam right now.. I don't know if its a good game or not but heck, for 2 dollars i don't really care :P

Just thought I'd point it out there since its probably being covered up by Batman AA being on sale as well.

SLUSHiNaToR

Lol wow, 2 dollars is like giving it away for free.

I'd say beat hazard, especially if you like Dub step and stuff like that.

Given you have a proper bass, or else it just wont be the same.

Hi all,

I'm thinking of buying a casual game to take a break from FPS and RTS once in a while. I tried Audiosurf demo yesterday and it was really fun. Are there any other games like this? It could be any genre: space shooter, racing, rhythm, as long as it "generates stuff using your music" like Audiosurf.

Arkham Asylum is only $13 on Steam now.

I wouldn't buy it though, since it has *cough* Securom *cough* 4 machine activation limit...

God of War games (1, 2 and PSP spin-offs, haven't played 3) are so much better in Hard Mode (Very Hard is a bit overkill). In Easy and Normal, you can just spam the hell out of your Square button and win, but in Hard, you have to actually time the dodge and blocks, you also need to think whether to use normal attacks which are fast but weak or strong attacks which are strong but can kill you due to its slow attack speed.

In short, the game turned from a mindless button masher into a challenging action game.

EDIT: Wait, I'm mentioning a console game. Fail.

As for PC games, I think Torchlight is definitely better in Hard, whereas it's just pure boredom in lower modes.

Do those have spoilers? If yes i would rather not watch.dakan45

No, man. They're just funny glitches.

The red exclamation mark reminds me of Oblivion when I didn't install mods correctly.

Valve is far from it these days... maybe at one point, not anymore.

simardbrad

I don't know about Valve from the 90s, but Valve today still listen to the community. TF2 has changed alot, much more balanced now compared to when it was released. The trading system was suggested by the community. Lots of people buy things from the Mann.Co Shop (I've seen so many mann.co hats lately), so people must've liked it. And many balancing changes were suggested by the community (except... Pyro nerfs?)

Alien Swarm is another example. Few days after it was released, people were spamming the forum "Tesla gun is so OP, OP OP OP x 100". They actually nerfed it.

Valve still fixes bug from their games like L4D series, TF2, CSS. Whereas Bethesda just leave Oblivion there (but thanks to the mod community, TES4 is fine now).
