I've got my hopes up for Darksiders 66% off, but man, it's Metro 2033. Good game, but too much for my PC to handle. Luckily L4D2 was on sale too, so I grabbed that.

640$ not bad. considering I have only spent like 150$ on Steam.
[QUOTE="Inconsistancy"]$0.00 USD mmm, BEAT THAT! Well, actually I have HL2, but that's on a different account.. and I forgot it's password /sigh.Maroxad
Do you still have your CD key for that game (assuming you bought the retail version)? If so should be able to reclaim your account.
That's not necessary. He could just click the "Forgot your password" button thingy when starting up Steam, provided he still remembers the e-mail it's registered with.

[QUOTE="FantasyTwisted"][QUOTE="spittis"]I'd prefer something paid. Is trend micro any good? Why do you want to pay for it?Unless spending money makes you feel more safe, I'd recommend these free programs. Have used them all myself and never had problems.
Anti virus: AVG Free
Anti spyware & malware: Spybot Search&Destroy, Malwarebytes Anti Malware
Firewall: ZoneAlarm Free

Maybe cause he thinks paid AVs protect better than free AVs. I don't know though.

Though I've only spent $100 on my Steam account. Sales FTW!
[QUOTE="h1dd3n5had0w"]I buy all my games retail even if they are cheaper on steam =/Who can resist Steam's amazing sales?
Prexxus
Why so?
I understand. Here is the thing about me. I don't have a lot of money to spend on games. I never bought a game at full price. So lets say I buy a certain game on sale for $20 and I manage to sell if for $10, I recovered half my money.
If on the other hand, I paid $50 for the game, I would never sell it for $10. That's really pointless. I'd rather keep it. Of course, if I wasn't so hard for cash, I wouldn't consider selling.

Well, that's like throwing 10 bucks out of the window. If I were you, I wouldn't sell it and keep my $20 game.
recommend some good RTS or click to move type RPG games. Right now I am playing Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War 2 and Titan Quest. I am looking for other games of this nature and if they are on the cheaper side its even better.

If you want to show people your collection of games, you don't want to show them a bunch of text do you? :P
Retail is the best choice IMO. It's always nice to have a physical copy.

But there are beautiful icons beside those text :P
Can I ask something about STEAM please? So ANY game you buy (be it on Steam, digital, physical etc) can be linked to STEAM? Yes.
and it will show up on list of games installed? Yes.
or owned? No. The owned games list only shows games bought or downloaded free through Steam.
For example, what if I had a game, but uninstalled it? It'll still be in the list.
Also, if the game ISN'T a Steam game, does it still report Hours Played etc? If it isn't bought through Steam, then no.
