Artificial difficulty to hide poor programming. Just because a game is "hard," it doesn't mean it is fun. We've been seeing it for years. Rubberbanding in racing games, for one. Other games that have enemies appear from nowhere to kill you.
This would be fantastic news. Join a posse, and rob a bank. Hell, if there do turn out to be railroads, it would be fun to stop one on the tracks to rob it.
Honestly, I'm easily more excited about this than when GTA V was announced.
Is it three separate games, or a series of releases for one game? Is it like FFX and FFX-2, where they are a continuation of a story, but nothing transfers? Or is it it like all the multi-disc FF games where you get to a point where you insert disc 2 and just keep playing with all the same levels and items?
They keep talking about this game without ever really saying anything.
I wonder what came first. April 1 st being "April Fools Day" or April 1st being the beginning of a new fiscal quarter. Seems to cause confusion every year by people who forget this.
At this point I would just take an updated version of Timesplitters 2. I've never enjoyed an FPS as much as I did that game. While they're at it, if they wanted to re-release Second Sight, I'd be down for that as well.
I'm only really annoyed by this because I've already purchased two different PS4's (the first was stolen). On the other hand, I have a job, and lots of disposable income, and I already have the 4K TV, so sure, let's go with an upgrade. I really hope there is an upgrade discount, or some such thing, but I'm sure Sony is more concerned with making money than making friends. It also better have at least 1TB under the hood for storage.
That's an impressive voice cast. Also, I really hope Mariah is playing herself in the role. It would be an amusing nod to Adam West being the mayor in Family Guy.
@jdlok: You are a very angry person, it would seem. Why spend so much time on here making fun of people? Do you need to feel better about yourself that badly?
