If people are happy for the Wii to be just the same as the Gamecube do you all not think u have been screwed over?

I mean Nintendo could have easily come up with a pointing device for the Gamecube on a fraction of the price but instead they hyped up this brand new system as a revolution which really barely has no more graphic power than it's predecessor. So your average gamer pays an extra £180 (don't know price in US) for it.

On the market for a Camcorder that can record video game footage from the TV. What features do i need to look for in a camcorder for this to work?

It's just strange how you use that as an example. You can't just "copy" the Wiimote. The system has to become more or less centered around it.

Why not? The Wii is more or less just a slightly souped up Gamecube. If that controller came out as an alternative gamepad for the Gamecube they would never have sold the same number of Gamecubes as they have had on a seperate console.

In my mind it's a clever bit of business strategy. Nintendo knew they didn't have enough resources to spend on state of the art hardware like the PS3 & X360 did. So they recycled an old idea promoting it as something for the future which actually was technology dating back to the NES when they experimented with that Power Glove.

Wouldn't be surprised if they recycled the Virtual Boy idea into their next console...... Hmmm Virtual Reality?, that would be pretty cool actually :D

psp has some nice games coming . but ds is better , what i think you should do if your low on cash buy a used psp . ds is cheaper to buy and its games are cheaper and it has alot of good games and more to come , psp is not as good it feels like i water down console u can take with u.deadmeat59

In 2 years time Nintendo & Sega will go bust with Philips and it's CD-I providing the only mere challenge (Video CDs, HOW CAN IT LOSE!). Nintendo have more or less admitted giving up making consoles as they are already starting to provide games for it with such leet games like Zelda, Link & Hotel Mario already confirmed.

Mark these words, as i promise you Philips, Atari & Panasonic's promosing 3DO shall be the future of gaming.

I love how for the past 20 years the main reason in buying a new and upgraded console was for the improved graphics. Now all of a sudden Nintendo doesn't have the funds to improve hardware and come up with a more improved Power Glove (which failed) to promote it along side it's new machine where in truth they could have made it as a peripheral for their dead console the Gamecube and none would have been as impressed.

Well done Nintendo for a brilliant bit of business, and the majority of the world population has been foolishly sucked in (including me....:? ). I will give the Wii another year or two before everyone get's bored of waving a remote around and are crying out for a new console.

Thing i'm a bit confused about is why do people say the PSP has failed when this current generation of portable systems hasn't ended yet?

Just wait until the next gen of portables come out and discontinue manufacturing then we shall see how they both turned out.
