Yes, it makes use of a pool of 8gb GDDR5 RAM. How much this actually helps the consoles is yet to be seen, it will certainly increase the price.
i dont know but i listened to a pannel on majornelson.com and the hardware and software guys said the chose DDR3 on purpose because of its speen. They also said right after that they xbox would of been perfectly fine with 4GB of ram. The only reason they decided to double it is because they wanted to have the dual OS running as smooth as possible and then some.
I'm planning to get an XBOX One and I saw a good slickdeals on XBOX 1600 MS points for $13.50, any idea if the point system is going to transfer over? I'm sure I can burn out 1600 points but I would like to know just for reference for the future. c88ms
good question. I dont think anything official has been made, but i sure that the next xbox live will most likly be dollar value. So i think the smart and easy thing for microsoft to do would be to just convert the account wallets.

DONT LISTEN to anyone that is bashing either console. these are the people stuck in a cave with a brain that never developed. just wait untill E3 and more information will be brought to attension. tTis is what adults do, for some kicking and screaming at thin air is still all they know how to do. This and always online are for me the two biggest issues with the Xbox One. I was already not that comfortable with the idea of Kinect, and now having this mandatory Kinect being shoved down our throats is not making me happy one bit. Even when the console is powered off, the Kinect is supposedly going to be listening constantly. Call me paranoid but I don't feel comfortable throwing my privacy out the window by having this thing in my room.

I really think that the camera is off while its sleeping. the only think is on is the microphone and the computers is set to start listening when someone says xbox + on. Every thing else is thrown away. think about it. if the camera was rungging the whiole time there would be a nice radiation of head comming from the console and the camera it's self.
