Level 27 (85%) My timestamps are correct now. I just cleared out my queue for tonight's eps. I haven't posted a blog in a while. Guess I've just become a little "disillusioned" by TV.com as of late. I'm nearing 3000 total contributions. All the guides I'm in charge of have different submission standards. It's driving me crazy. If In Justice and Conviction don't get renewed I'm going to be quite sad. I'm having personal problems. April has come and gone. I had a billion assignments due on Friday and a billion more due this Friday. My brain is about to explode. I'm starting to look forward to the summer when only one of the shows I'm in charge of actually airs new episodes. It'll give me some time to revamp the guides. They still haven't fixed everything for the people guides. Looks like TWW won't be getting a season finale chat. :( What happened to the little icons that showed up below your name in the forums where you are the editor? I miss those. I need those. Many users won't listen to you in the forums unless they know you have the power of moderation. Who should I talk to if I think that my level should be higher? Who should I talk to about the fact that no one is responding to my list in the fourth post and 21st post of this thread?

Thank You For Smoking. It's got tons of great actors in it and it's the best movie I've seen all year. Please go see it. Not just for me. But for you too. You will laugh so hard no matter who you are. And I don't actually think you see a single person smoking in it. Except maybe the Marlbaro Man.

I've heard a lot of stuff about the site lately so I thought we'd try a thereputic exercise. How about we all name one good thing and one bad thing about TV.com? Only one rule: You can't name what the person before you said.

I wrote up some problems that I'd been having for months in the Editor's Lounge thread for the Top 20 guides. No one responded. The staff read my post and just ignored the list.

I can't believe Huntsman is leaving. Okay so I can but that just goes to show that a lot of things are wrong around here. I remember last August where no matter what the staff did he would sing their praises. Lately I've noticed something I'd never seen from him before: criticism of the staff. But I guess that was bound to happen. It seemed to me not that he didn't think that stuff was wrong with TV.com but that he was willing to give them a little more leeway. I've had many problems managing my guides due to site issues and bugs and I've received advice from many people about who to talk to about such issues but all the staff that I've contacted have fallen off the map when it comes to helping me. Every once in a while they get back to me but know they are no where to be seen. I think that I'm gonna try to conserve my anger for Rantfest 2006.

A little while ago I passed the 1000 forum post mark. Yea! I would have said something in the forums but that's against the Forum TOS.

I wish they would organize my editor and trusted user stuff in the order that I got them and not the order that they randomly pick. Although alphabetical is better than show number. Wed: Classic. Alias. Thurs: The O.C. is returning to its roots. That's a good look for them. Fri: Why do the networks hate me so much? No In Justice. No Conviction. :( Sat: ABC is gonna show Pretty Woman. I'm on my way to another people guide or two. Darn my love of actors. Did anyone else have problems accessing the site yesterday? Beta and Original Flavors! I couldn't get on after 6PM EST. Today I find that nothing has really changed, like for example you still can't access crew pages for episodes. And the little "mini-webpage" icons still don't link to shows in the Moderation Queue. I still have to log out to see the decimal points on my level. So far the thing that gotten on my nerves the most is the misuse of the words "new" and "more". How are favorite people and favorite forums new? Is there some extra special setting I'm unaware of? And the Editor's Queue indicator isn't new. It was there in the first place and still is when you visit the Original Flavor of TV.com. You just can't see it because TV.com couldn't stop themselves from adding to many things to the header bar. Correction. The most annoying thing is the header bar. I hate that header bar. I have a widescreen 17" monitor and I still spend 15% of my time here scrolling down past the header so that I can actually see and use the site. Grrrrrr.... I'm considering watching What About Brian. But I'm considering watching it about as much as I'm considering watching a syndicated rerun of Smallville. I'm continually finding out that people who like there are many people who like Buffy and The West Wing and Grey's Anatomy. Everytime I find one I go "Oh, wait! I'm not alone?" Currently the moderation feature isn't working properly. When I try to make corrections to submissions the system does not register them. I then have to go into the guide and redo the changes. In order to avoid accusations of gaming I will be rejecting all submissions that are in any way incorrect. I did not want to resort to this step. It was a last measure after waiting for two weeks for TV.com to fix this problem and then finding that after they said the would shut down the moderation system to work on it, they did not fix the problem. Like I said in my previous post: Please join the West Wing Recap Competition! I really need to get participation from a number of people in order for it to work. I don't really like that my stats are public without my choice. I have way more emblems. Appearantly I'm supposed to be on Level 35. I agree that they should get rid of the extra bar that listed the genres. The shows I edit and an TU for are not showing up but I have lots of commas! I liked my profile picture better when it was nest to score bar but it being the About Me box makes sense. I don't see the need for the stats to show up while I'm posting my blog. It's not like I'm going to include them. I hope they make it so that the shows I edit show up in the order that I got them and not by id number. But I guess the odds are against that. My "mod" emblem doesn't show up when I post in the forums that I edit. So far I think the coolest new thing is that you can see if someone has left any new comments on your blog. I clicked on "All My Contributions" and it took me to my Contacts list. And now some of my pictures aren't showing up. I checked missribs update blog and it seems that they've emphasized a lot on the look of the site but they haven't really done much for the functionality. I can’t access any of my blog that aren’t from the previous 20. I had a whole boxful of PMs when I arrived today! Two were about recaps. Only one was about the West Wing. :( OMG!!! The West Wing is 13th on the Most Popular list! I'm used to seeing it peak into the top 60 after an episode but it was 16th yesterday! I wonder how I managed to pull that off. I think it's a result of forum traffic post-Leo. :( I'm a going to cry so hard on Sunday. Grey's Anatomy is 7th on the Most Popular list. Not higher than DH (5th) but still winning in the Nielsens by a small margin. HIMYM and Weeds didn't make the general MP list at all but are 3rd and 25th on the Comedy list. The Exclamation Report! On today's front page TV.com was happy to announce that on Sunday's The West Wing "Members of both the Santos and Vinck campaigns must decide how to handle a tragedy!" While a beautiful photo of Annabeth (Kristin Chenoweth) sits by that caption I am pained to report that TV.com has "exclamation pointed" Leo McGarry's death. I am now, officially, appalled. And In Other News ...it would seem that sometime between today and yesterday I became to editor for How I Met Your Mother. I haven't contributed to it since it's first weeks on air and it would appear that the former editor, -ACL- is still active on the site and has not been labeled retired as editor. I only got the show because I had exactly 80 points and was right behind the exactly 1000 editor. Wonder what that's all about.
