Overall at the end of the day...

You don't know me. Just wanted to say that. You can't see the color of my skin and it isn't clear where to start for you to win an argument off egonomic proportions when every argument you have is seen with your own distortions. Logic doesn't live here Music Words that aren't clear You won't lend me your ear Afford me only your fears I want to speak to your soul but you wanna shut me up. Why do you feel that I'm the one whose morals are corrupt? Please open your mind and lend me your eyes I wanna see with your soul and understand your surprise. Don't be confused at all I'm not here to tell lies. I only wanna help the community rise. But instead we suffer through ignorance in vain. Information surrounds us but we continue to abstain from letting that knowledge into our brains we beat it away with sticks and we beat it away with canes. Don't attack me for using the rights that I was born with just help me and love me and show me what life is adorn with. Love based on my tears Misinterpret my queer See a heart that is clear Is yours gone or over there?

Do your Denied submissions subtract points from your overall level?

No.

4
Rough Guess, Recaps = 10 Summaries or new epsiodes = 8 Things like allusions or notes = 1 or 2 points this is jsut rough from what i notice i go up

5.
From what I have worked out by submitting at the time when they constantly update show contributors list between 6-6.30 EST in America I think here are the contribution points towards the show note not directly in line with level. Episode Summary, Name, Recap edit any part or all is 8 points Show summary edit or new; 5 points Quotes new; 2or 1 point quotes edit; 1 point Notes new or edit; 1 point Stars, recurring stars, guest stars; 1 point per submission whether you add 10 or 1 it does not matter so if you want more points only add one at a time I hope this does not give away too many of TV.com's ridiculously protected secrets to stop people from abusing the system

The other blog was too long.

My First Submission Done With Editor Status!

Sam: ‘Cause Alger Hiss just walked in with my secret pumpkin. Alger Hiss was imprisoned in the 1950s after being convicted of spying on Americans for the Soviet Union. The documents he allegedly recorded during his "spying" were kept in a hallowed out pumpkin. The use of this allusion is just a spy joke to reference the fact that he thinks that Laurie is spying on him in the bar. Submitted to The West Wing today. I have 787 points up from 784 earlier today when I made the submission. Yeah for me!

My first change done with my trusted user status!

I got my trusted user status an hour or two ago! Toby: "How's the First Lady?" Leo: "You know, I think with everything on our plates we don't need to be marriage counselors right now." Toby: "No, we should, cause you and I would be really good at it." I currently have 95 points with the show!

My 2005 Emmy picks...

Here is the complete list of nominees for the 57th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, which will be presented Sept. 18 in Los Angeles: I've highlighted my choices in red. Drama Series: Deadwood, HBO; Lost, ABC; Six Feet Under, HBO; 24, Fox; The West Wing, NBC. Veronica Mars should be in here but just like with Buffy the Emmy institution is an archaic country club. Comedy Series: Arrested Development, Fox; Desperate Housewives, ABC; Everybody Loves Raymond, CBS; Scrubs, NBC; Will & Grace, NBC. Miniseries: Elvis, CBS; Empire Falls, HBO; The 4400, USA; The Lost Prince (Masterpiece Theatre), PBS. Made-for-TV Movie: Lackawanna Blues, HBO; The Life and Death of Peter Sellers, HBO; The Office Special, BBC America; Warm Springs, HBO; The Wool Cap, TNT. Couldn't pick. Reality Program: Antiques Roadshow, PBS; Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, ABC; Penn & Teller: Bulls--t! Showtime; Project Greenlight, Bravo; Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Bravo. Reality-Competition Program: The Amazing Race, CBS; American Idol, Fox; The Apprentice, NBC; Project Runway, Bravo; Survivor, CBS. Variety, Music or Comedy Series: Da Ali G Show, HBO; The Daily Show With Jon Stewart, Comedy Central; Late Night With Conan O'Brien, NBC; Late Show With David Letterman, CBS; Real Time With Bill Maher, HBO. I love Conan. Conan simply rocks. But it's the Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Why? Because Jon Stewart's been on Oprah in the past year and Conan? hasn't. Variety, Music or Comedy Special: 77th Annual Academy Awards, ABC; Dave Chappelle: For What It's Worth, Showtime; Everybody Loves Raymond--The Last Laugh, CBS; The Games of The XXVIII Olympiad--Opening Ceremony, NBC; 58th Annual Tony Awards (2004), CBS. Actor, Drama Series: James Spader, Boston Legal, ABC; Ian McShane, Deadwood, HBO; Hugh Laurie, House, Fox; Hank Azaria, Huff, Showtime; Kiefer Sutherland, 24, Fox. It's cable. It's Hank Azaria. Actress, Drama Series: Jennifer Garner, Alias, ABC; Mariska Hargitay, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, NBC; Patricia Arquette, Medium, NBC; Glenn Close, The Shield, FX; Frances Conroy, Six Feet Under, HBO. Supporting Actor, Drama Series: William Shatner, Boston Legal, ABC; Oliver Platt, Huff, Showtime; Naveen Andrews, Lost, ABC; Terry O'Quinn, Lost, ABC; Alan Alda, The West Wing, NBC. Supporting Actress, Drama Series: Sandra Oh, Grey's Anatomy, ABC; Blythe Danner, Huff, Showtime; Tyne Daly, Judging Amy, CBS; CCH Pounder, The Shield, FX; Stockard Channing, The West Wing, NBC. Actor, Comedy Series: Jason Bateman, Arrested Development, Fox; Ray Romano, Everybody Loves Raymond, CBS; Tony Shalhoub, Monk, USA; Zach Braff, Scrubs, NBC; Eric McCormack, Will & Grace, NBC. I just don't know. Romano's going out but Shalhoub i always rocking it. And I love saying his last name. Actress, Comedy Series: Marcia Cross, Desperate Housewives, ABC; Teri Hatcher, Desperate Housewives, ABC; Felicity Huffman, Desperate Housewives, ABC; Patricia Heaton, Everybody Loves Raymond, CBS; Jane Kaczmarek, Malcolm in the Middle, Fox. It's Desperate Housewives and I don't care about credentials or skills, one of those women in takin' home the gold. Teri's done/got enough and if Felicity Huffman can't get it for Sports Night she ain't gonna get it for this. Patricia Heaton should get it cause she rocks but it's going to be hard seeing as the Emmys doesn't let shows that are on their way out get much in the way of prizes in their little club or at the official ceremonies. Jane Kaczmarek also rocks but the show is on it's way down, as you can probably tell from the new fall schedule. Supporting Actor, Comedy Series: Jeffrey Tambor, Arrested Development, Fox; Jeremy Piven, Entourage, HBO; Peter Boyle, Everybody Loves Raymond, CBS; Brad Garrett, Everybody Loves Raymond, CBS; Sean Hayes, Will & Grace, NBC. Ok, so there's a little leway for outgoing shows. Supporting Actress, Comedy Series: Jessica Walter, Arrested Development, Fox; Doris Roberts, Everybody Loves Raymond, CBS; Holland Taylor, Two and a Half Men, CBS; Conchata Ferrell, Two and a Half Men, CBS; Megan Mullally, Will & Grace, NBC. Mullally rocks, but the Emmy apparently don't like loose characters. Walter isn't the best but her show has less filler. Better character, Less Filler. Better Character, Less Filler.... Actor, Miniseries or a Movie: Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, Elvis, CBS; Ed Harris, Empire Falls, HBO; Geoffrey Rush, The Life and Death of Peter Sellers, HBO; Kenneth Branagh, Warm Springs, HBO; William H. Macy, The Wool Cap, TNT. I must decide between Macy and Harris. Great character actor, Less hair. Better character actor, Less hair.... Actress, Miniseries or a Movie: Blythe Danner, Back When We Were Grownups (Hallmark Hall of Fame Presentation), CBS; Debra Winger, Dawn Anna, Lifetime Television; S. Epatha Merkerson, Lackawanna Blues, HBO; Halle Berry, Their Eyes Were Watching God, ABC; Cynthia Nixon, Warm Springs, HBO. Supporting Actor, Miniseries or a Movie: Randy Quaid, Elvis, CBS; Paul Newman, Empire Falls, HBO; Philip Seymour Hoffman, Empire Falls, HBO; Christopher Plummer, Our Fathers, Showtime; Brian Dennehy, Our Fathers, Showtime. Supporting Actress, Miniseries or a Movie: Camryn Manheim, Elvis, CBS; Joanne Woodward, Empire Falls, HBO; Charlize Theron, The Life and Death of Peter Sellers, HBO; Jane Alexander, Warm Springs, HBO; Kathy Bates, Warm Springs, HBO. Guest Actor in a Comedy Series: Fred Willard, Everybody Loves Raymond, CBS; Victor Garber, Will & Grace, NBC; Jeff Goldblum, Will & Grace, NBC; Bobby Cannavale, Will & Grace, NBC; Alec Baldwin, Will & Grace, NBC. Point Guesses Summary

Review of the West Wing pilot episode

Since i can't post on the site because the review meter won't register, I'll post it here. I loved this episode not only does it succesfully introduce of the show's main characters it a long one shot for the ages but it also shows its viewers the spectacular set and warms the characters into our hearts. Albeit specifically Donna was a little more off than others from who each of the characters become you can tell that each of the actors was just beginning to figure out how to play the characters that I have come to know and love. Being able to see this brought the actors as well into my hearts. And while the show has not been as successful in recent years in many ways it is still enjoyable to watch these characters, and even more so these people, interact.

I got points!

Yea! If they manage to update the scores once a week that's okay with me. I just wish that we knew when this was gonna happen. They said once everyday but that definitely is not happening. I think we would all be less frustrated if we knew what we going on. I also am on the top contributors list for West Wing. For some this is not an much of an accomplishment. For me it is sheer bliss.

Can't Contribute? I thought that was the point!

So at first I was upset because I couldn't figure out to work the website. Then I was upset because I couldn't figure out how to contribute. Thankfully the USER-(not staff)-created FAQ solved my problems. Then I was having trouble ever getting my contributions reviewed because apparently I didn't have enough points for the editors to ever see them. I needed points to get seen, I needed to get seen to get points. Well, all was fine and dandy when I decided I would wait for my stuff to get reviewed before I started ranting off and complaining because I've submitted over 180 contributions and only 18 of them have been reviewed over a period of two weeks thus leaving me stuck with the same level and the exact amount of points I've had since I joined in mid-June. NOW THEY TELL ME THAT I CAN'T CONTRIBUTE BECAUSE I ONLY HAVE A LEVEL ONE DESIGNATION. HOW THE HELL DO THEY EXPECT ANYONE TO EVER GET OUT THE TRENCHES TO ACTUALLY DO ANYTHING CONSTRUCTIVE FOR THIS SITE IF THEY MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR SUCH THINGS TO HAPPEN! They told me to post some reviews and blog entries, which I've done, and none of it has affected my points or percentage number up by my icon. I'd like to congratulate those of you who got here on day one and scooped all the points and are the editors of so many shows that you don't even want them all anymore. The rest of us have to find obscure facts and wait two months with pending submission status to get a point in edgewise. okay... I'm gonna go take a walk now and try not to lose what's left of my sanity. P.S. These people have lost it so much that the page that informed me of the recent development read "Minimum Level For Contriubtions Not Met"... Spell Check anyone? Try looking at that eyesore at the top of the page in huge red letters. And the spell check doesn't recognize the word "blog."
