In agreement with someone else: It really did sound like sinde didn't know the point system was down. It looks like forum activity rose significantly during the plague of users bugs. I wanted Kithcen Confidential but everytime I submitted something it gets rejected. I know I'm the first one submitting the info so it feels like someone is just waiting for someone else to submit it so that they can reject it. Don't know what's going on. Either way I don't have a single point for the show when I should have 100 by now. For anyone who didn't get it all I wrote in my last blog was 76% because sadly that's all I had to say in terms of updates. Kanye West is stirring up his share of contoversy. Took a vacation. I'd take a vacation from doing contributions but I haven't gotten any all week. Maybe this is what the staff wanted. Hope this whole mess is over by Friday. Now it's back to being outraged by the still not present response to Hurricane Katrina. Yes, I am one of those people who watches the Sunday morning talk shows. Yes, it's because of the way The West Wing has influnced my life and promoted me to question authority and to think about where I stand, politically and in general. You can't blame the people, they didn't have a way too leave. The President and the Secretary of Homeland Security are shocked that the levy broke. The Secretary basically said it wasn't the federal government's responsiblity to help people to get out. The President said nobody could predict it. He has a zero tolerance policy against looting. He can send troops to shoot staving people but he can't send food. FEMA has been turning resources away. After a week people are still stuck in hospitals. At least 10 are dying a day in the Astrodome. They still don't have what the need. And water just arrived at the Superdome today. 6 days later. Police in New Orleans are committing suicide and walking of the jobs. Bodies are just lying around. Dead bodies. Dead people. Just lying there. And most of them aren't dead because of the hurricane. They're dead because the government can't get off it's ***. I've cried, I've sobbed, I've gotten angry, and I've yelled at my TV more times than you can imagine.
